In 1966 I was on the road. Hitchhiked with a fellow from Innsbruck to Munich. As we walked into the city center just before sunrise ... a fellow rode by on a bicycle.
I yelled: "Hey you stop!"
He turned around and came back.
"Did I meet you in Tunisia a few months back?" "Yes!" He pulled out some newspaper clippings that he carried with him, about how he went by bicycle from Tangier to Tunisia. But decided that trying to cross Libya to Egypt by bicycle was too much for a 65 year old man.
