  • oh wow!! :) i cant believe i got tears in my eyes..

  • @lozzymagoo - Thanks so much for your support! I am glad it brought tears to your eyes, she's a special girl! :D

  • She's missin' a leg? Fancy-that..I didn't even notice. What a Beauty! And those eyes... She is a reflection of the loving owner that brought this puppy back to life..Wonderful videos

  • My dogs are not PSD's but have saved me from being a hermit simply because they have to be walked. Their enthusiasm for being outside makes me want to spend more time out with them. Going out to stores, etc, is another issue altogether.

Keep trying to use Fancy out in the world in the UK. You will find people and places that accept her and you. I wish you all the best.

  • Dogs never lie about love. The both of you are fortunate to have each other. And it's the pits about the UK and the PSD situation.

    Best regards,

    Marcus

  • Fancy and worthless shouldn't be in the same sentence. She's beautiful and you are an angel for rescuing her.

  • Thanks so much for your support! :)

  • I loved watching this! We are looking at a Collie at this shelter hopefully next week and I hope to give it all the love you have given Fancy!

  • Just be careful about adopting a border collie. KNOW THE BREED inside and out! As great as they are, they aint for everyone (especially those who work a lot and cannot dedicate 2-3 hours a day to rigorous exercise). BUT!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK! They are fabulous dogs - Loyal to the end. :)

  • PSD/Mobility Dog users here - currently residing in the US, soon to settle in the UK.

I thought PSDs weren't covered by UK law? I'm having a heck of a time finding out about the laws I would be covered under as a handler/trainer. Any suggestions of resources I should look into?

  • NOWHERE in the law does it say I cannot use a PSD...but the law pretty much says you cannot deny use or access of a disable person's 'tools'. They do not outline dogs at all, except they are allowed into cars.

  • I have been unable to use my PSD here in the UK (we're from the USA originally) as each time I try to access a building or anything, I am screamed at to be removed. Service Dogs just...doesn't exist. In fact, if you say "Service Dog" no one has any idea what you're talking about. People know of Dogs for the Blind but that is it!! Even the Police cant help...so....my PSD is out of commission until a better law is passed :(

  • Dogs for the immobile are here, but I have seen stores ask for the dog's certification, and refused if it doesn't have any.

Its really really bad over here :( I have now gone back to being a hermit, and cannot go out in public without my husband helping me :(

  • what a wonderful story your story touched my heart ;-) You should think about making a website about Fancy ;-)

  • HEY! Thats a pretty darn good idea :)

And thanks for the comment!!!!!!!! :)

  • your welcome i love your video's! its so heartwarming on how you rescued that sweet girl and in a way she saved you, just like my dog and me =)

  • Another great video of Fancy

  • Wow - thank you for sharing

    (wiping tear from eye)

  • What a fabulous ending. Thanks to the anonymous angel that allowed it to turn out this way.

  • Thank you for sharing Fancy's lovely story

  • Thank you for this inspiring video. I'm considering the idea of adopting and training a service dog to help me with the same issues you're experiencing. Looks like Fancy has helped you a great deal. I'd love to hear more about how you trained her.

  • What a wonderful story...I am teary eyed, but heartfelt in that Fancy has found such a wonderful life, and that the best part is, she found you! Very heart felt story. Thank You.

  • Beautiful to see a border collie come such a long way. I know what a difference a service dog makes to agoraphobia. I have posted a video response of my service dog. I have agoraphobia, ptsd and panic disorder. With out him I could only go to 3 places by myself. How are you getting on with your agoraphobia and your service dog?

  • I cried what a perfect ending for Fancy.

  • what a wonderful story! all the best to you and fancy!

  • great, thank you!

  • beautiful story xxoo

  • Thanks sweety for stopping by and taking the time to watch xoxoxox

  • It always amazes me that as hard as I try to show my dogs I love them, they always return that love to me tenfold. I'll bet Fancy is like that. She appears to have such joy for life. I am so happy you found each other, Fancy must be a wonderful dog to share your life with.

Kisses to Fancy from Rob, Jesse (dog#1) and Willie (dog#2)

  • Great story! I cried! I rescued a Border collie that was a Hurricane Katrina dog from a shelter in Fl. She is the best dog and my best friend. Love the video!

  • great video, made me happy :)

  • An inspirational video demonstrating how people and dogs work together.

A two way relationship where the unknown adventures and mysteries of the future are to be shared between human and dog to the benefit of both.

We agree that no dog is worthless. They all have their destiny. People should look at their 'pets' and see the potential, the unrealised ability and the deeper relationship they could share.

Neo - your videos say much about why dogs are known as 'mans best freind'.
