Note at the beginning of the movie it says "A News Corporation Movie" 20th Century Fox. It is indeed owned by Rupert Murdoch. It makes sense to me that Fox would be doing media spin about terrorism for the Neo Conservative agenda that PNAC was promoting at that time calloed "A New Pearl Harbor".
@wordgeezer dont forget tht there are people in this world who want to kill us and can blow up buildings so threats of car bombs and terrorism is very plausible and likely. Is it hard to believe tht there are people in this world who want to kill us or do you really think anything mean looking like this is just a fairy tale?
@wordgeezer Do u notice that the visual icon for the term "Terrorist" for most people is the image of the Arab Terrorist. In truth, a terrorist can be of any background of any group. However with conditioning of the media and entertainment. The average American will identify "Terrorist" with "Arab"
I use to think when others told me that the Zionists control Hollywood and the US politics. I thought they were exaggerating. It turns out, they weren't. The Zionists do have alot of power in the US.
Hard to fathom how prophetic some of this movie became. While martial law was never instituted following 911, the fear which grips the city in this film remains palpable for Americans who still shudder at the thought of further terror attacks within the domestic borders of the U.S. When Denzel's character quips, "This is New York, we can take it," it evokes poignant memories of deceased firefighters and policemen whose families had to "take it". God rest their souls.
@madshaolin the sad thing is that there were so many racist films that the arab public got nervous and accused it of hatred when it was CONDEMNING that attitude.
NDAA, one step closer to making The Siege a reality.

@Sun6Tzu
Let me guess, your a Muslim? And if someone portrays a terrorist as Muslim you assume they are a Jew?

This film was head of it's time by 3 years. Another case of history duplicating Hollywood.
