In most of the English-speaking world, the countries commonly included in the Balkan region are Albania, Bosnia and Hezregovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.

Slovenia is an Alpein country therefore is not included in balkan chain.

Turkey and Romania have 5-15 % of their country in Balkan Peninsula which is not enough to call them balkan countries.

Moldava is not balkan country!
