  • @mikeyg17368 In their home country, yes. I suppose there is some permit someone could theoretically get.

But outside the US, they're legal. If CITES took subspecies into consideration, this subspecies of the common garter would end up in Appendix I in a heartbeat.

  • where did u get him

  • @95blasterRider Another hobbyist, who bought her from a German breeder.

  • the colours are SO pretty! even more so in person right?

  • @BrittanyNicole1990 Indeed. I'll put a link in the crotch bar to a video where you can see how it really looks.

  • @SAsgarters LOL nice :P i prolly say that all the time. but OMG it is purdy.

  • Very nice! The SF's have beautiful coloring.Thumbs up! :)

  • @TheeLifeOfBob Thanks. :)

It just annoys me that the real colours don't show. They should be much brighter. Not sure of whether I should blame the camera or the lighting.

  • @SAsgarters Well what I know for sure, is that if that snake looks this good on camera, it'll be a real pleasure to look at in person!

  • @jxz107 There's a video from about a couple of years ago, titled "Shedding". That one shows how colorful it really is. I'll put a link in the crotch bar.
