yea man people don't know anything about Descartes. the only reason i know about him is im 16 and wil become a physicist but i don't think anyone outside of physics and mathematics will know him....

Well he's very well known in Philosophy, and if you're going to be a thoughtful debator, I think you should know alot about him, especially if you debate alot about religion.
