Not necessarily. Some remakes can be good and even better than the original. The fact that it was "americanized", won't take away from the Korean version. I find both movies equally enjoyable.

I really can't wait to finally see this movie! I saw the trailer maybe 3 weeks ago and from this moment on I wanted to watch it...but I hear so much rumores about the release date..I'd prefer to watch it in the cinema but it's not that bad if it comes straight to dvd..at least we will watch it sometime..

that seems interesting and maybe i'll go to see it. the ring , the grudge and now possession are Korean or Chinese films translated in english language. In both the Grudge and possession plays Gellar. Isn't it weird? but i love her since BTVS. amazing show!

the point is that he's not her husband. The other guy is a felon, and he scares her. So it's kinda hard to just accept something like that and move on when he's suddenly a different person. the only thing that's the same is his personality and memories.

Okay, I looove the last 20 seconds of this trailer. That music and the "Jess, you will never lose me" and "You know I'm always here for you" really get me. I can see this one pulling at the heartstrings! I want more though - I want this movie to come out already!

I agree! Possession just gives away the story without watching it when 'Addicted', it leaves room for wonder.

Uhmm no it should not have been called addicted. No one's addicted to anything in the movie. It's about body switching. So possession suits the movie well.
