I have enjoyed this album for over 30 years. Most, if not all of my friends, do not like "A Wizard, A True Star, but there are so many elements and music swings in this album that move me in different ways. Some songs are just fun to listen to. Other songs kick me in the ass or touch senses that soothes the soul.

A Wizard A True Star is definitely a 'watershed" album. I can't believe you didn't already know how good this was.

I now know that when I die I will be fulfilled for having experienced this come September. I do not know where Akron is, anyone there, or how I will get there. All irrelevant. This is the most desired concert of my existence(unless Duane rises from the dead & Bill Graham reopens Fillmore East).

My only visual grasp was when as a kid I gasped to the Don Kirschner Never Never Land. The Hot Toddie version is all I've found of it. (While grateful, is there anything better?)
