  • .... i like how he is in pajamas

  • these things are pimp

  • this is so funny i love it

  • Hey! I've currently got an acoustic drum set, but it's getting way to pricey for me. So

I've got a couple questions if you could possible answer them. Which do you prefer, acoustic or electric, why? Is there anything you have to replace on electric sets (heads/pads etc)? Can you use a double bass pedal on and electric drum set? Can you add on to an electric drum set and buy more drums/cymbals?

    ~Eric

    Thanks!

  • @GRETSCHandSABIAN Acoustic drums have the ''real'' feel , electric drums haven't that. With a acoustic set u can play not in the night , with a electric it's possible. A double bass is possible , but u need the right kick trigger. Also its possible to add more cymbals , drumpads but that is all about the brain module and is on every set different , bad english ;)

  • @Mfeniksz Which do you prefer? And about how often do drum pads break?

    ~Eric

    Thanks, again!

  • @GRETSCHandSABIAN I prefer acoustic drums for the real feel , but electric are better for drumming in ur room without upset neightbours.. My electric drumpads has never broke and I hit hard , im getting the Roland TD4KX2 tomorow , my advice : go to a music store and ask if u can try both;)

  • @Mfeniksz I have an acoustic set now, but am looking at getting an electric instead. I like my acoustic, but my time is limited that i can play on it. And replacing cymbals and drumheads and hardware and everything for it is just getting to expensive. I like with an electric set how you can hook it up to your computer and dick around with things on here. Thanks again for the help! Have a great day!

  • @GRETSCHandSABIAN No thanks , Have a great day too !

  • i played on these in dawsons there a good electronic set but i prefere real drums i dnt trust myself with wires. :/

  • i want you playing that song in my room, and we smoke good weed from amsterdam.

    ok?

  • I love this. More, please!

  • Is it possible to use this with one arm like how def leppard's one arm drummer rick allen uses a kind of electric drums?

  • @inigogonzalez1 Sure! Feet can play kick and snare, one hand to play melody!

  • lol Hihat Pedal Is Snare :)

  • that was bad

  • fast fowarded much?

  • awsome but what kind of electronic drum set is that. its cool!

  • THIS IS AMAZING!

  • Dude that is so awesome!!! How much did that drum set cost??

  • Beautiful

  • im not hearing the super mario brothers theme.................

  • sounds like sesame street

  • How much for the kit??

  • 0:28 fail!

  • @bipoxtreme

i heard the stick click too lol

  • you mad that video play faster than you were really playing!

  • @drumaddict26 i think he did. if you watch the beginning its very visible. plain to see

  • rhythm fail.

  • I have heard that on Mario kart

  • dude this would be so much tighter if you could keep it in time. but its still a cool grove.

  • If so, how/where did you get the extra pads and how did you set it up like that?

  • What is the exact name of the product you're using? (The drums)

  • @okm2k4 The set is the original Roland V-drums (purchased April '98). I adjusted the drum and cymbal positions to make it as you see it.

  • @onedrumcircle The Roland HD-1 V-Drums Lite Electronic Drums?

  • @okm2k4 at the time it was the only V-drum set - called V-drums. It comes with the td-10 controller. The drums and cymbals are original except for the HH - originally it was the 7" cymbal, now the 12" HH. The 7" is connected to input #11. I still have 1 more unused input. I moved all the stand crossbars, drum mounts and cymbal mounts to get the setup you see.

  • ITS KNAAN AAAAAAAAAAHH jokes!

  • u rule bro how much did u buy that kit for?

  • thats hella cool

  • Can you use this set a a midi?

  • @epohnopulse sure - it is a MIDI instrument

  • @onedrumcircle So I can assign any sounds I want to the respective pads? Or are their only preset sounds?

  • @epohnopulse actually its both - you can assign any of the drum sounds in the controller to any pad, AND you can use the MIDI signal, which you can set to any note, to trigger an external MIDI instrument or software. You can even send this note to multiple MIDI instruments. I have produced over 50 completely different songs in this way - be careful, tho - it can become an obsession :)

  • sweet

  • haha awsome ^^

  • the new name should be gallesandro! (dont ask)

  • thats sick

  • original Roland V-drums TD-10 controller

  • He's playing the snare with his left foot.

  • @TheRickVidz u mean the bass drum?

  • @airblade124 Bass is on HIS right foot snare is on he left foot

  • oohhhhhh... myyy baaadddd...

  • question? are u playing with the sanre on plyaback?.. very cool nice job

  • @Diegobomber He has a snare Pedal.

  • I have assigned the left foot pedal as a snare - most of the better electronic kits let you assign ANY sound to any of the drums, cymbals, and pedals. This makes creating new drum parts really interesting!

  • Roland!

    Perfect!!!

  • Snare pedal FTW!!

  • hahahahaahahahahhahahhaahahahaha

  • jamaicaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • what should i use?

  • because of the broad frequency range of electronic drums, the better the headphones (or speakers) the more real the drums sound :). Also, that lets you listen to them LOUD if you want. But I actually don't know which brand is best :(

  • nice dude hey what kind of headphones work good with ele. drums? cause im thinking of skull candy can anyone help thanks

  • skull candy NO they suck man

  • It's too cool It's like the Hang Drum!!

  • snare pedal???? WTF

  • Is the video sped up at all? It looks strange.

  • not sped up, the video is not the greatest quality, but my arms do move that fast, if that's what you are seeing :)

  • king sounds like maplestory in a way

  • JAMAICAA MAAN! :D nice one!

  • @MrDrumllica what makes you think about jamaica? lol

  • @MrDrumllica Trinidad, get your facts straight.

  • @MrDrumllica ARE U FUCKING STUPID!! I AM JAMICAN AND THAT COMMENT AND THIS SOLO WAS AN INSULT

  • @jenard0 take a fuckin walk ya fuckin hunyan

  • i hate electric drum kits

but this number have got style ^^

    funk on it´s groovie :)

  • That is sooo cool

  • nice pjs

  • i didn't know multitasking like this was even possible!

  • how do you get the steel drum effect on there

  • my set came with steel drums as a preset. most electronic kits allow you to change the instrument for any of the drums, cymbals, and rims. you hit the "instrument" button (or maybe a short form of the word), then "list" to show the list of instruments available. You might also try to use the MIDI out (if available) and run the MIDI cord to MIDI in on a keyboard or a computer with MIDI instrument software (I usually use Reason)

  • I like that ! =P

  • Pretty awesome work :) Keep up the good work. Also, are there any certain kit set ups for electronic? I'm looking into them for Christmas:)

  • drums and cymbals on electronic kits can be moved and arranged to fit anyone's playing style. on my kit I moved the support bars so the toms are at the same height. I had to turn the 2 low tom mounting brackets upside-down also. I hope that's what you are asking - if not, just let me know and I'll try again ;)

  • Wlel siad, my firned!

  • i hate it!!! I HATE DRUM SIMULATORS!!!!! I HAPPEN TO PLAY REAL STEEL DRUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Just like Steel Drums, electronic drums are an instrument in themselves, not only a "simulator" as you say. They are played as the artist chooses. I would never judge your instrument, why judge mine?

  • ive just always grown up on real drums. my mother actually bought me an electric kit last year for christmas and i cant stand it, although you have a really nice kit. now i like the beat itself but it just sounds unrealistic i didnt mean to say that i hate the whole thing. and well i was already in a bad mood

  • thanks for the explanation - and for whatever it's worth, I played acoustic drums for 30 years before switching to electronics.

  • good until 1:30

  • lmfao!!!

  • this reminds me of the theme song from the tv show arthur

  • wow its funny cuz every time he hits the bass pedal it not only sounds like its shaking the whole place but the camera shakes 2... overall kool, it reminds me of mario

  • cool!!!!!!!! a very relaxing tune

  • Love the jammies...

  • it'd be cool if you didn't speed up your actual playing

  • pretty cool :)

  • yoshi?

  • very melow and peaceful song

    nice job

  • wow...

    really nice...

it's diferent from all other drum solos that's for shure xD

  • you are unreal :D lol so cool

  • I prefer acoustic :D

  • Ima buy a set of Electric drums soon.. i'm not sure what i prefer. Acoustic drums have more respect behind them.. but.. electric drums have more possibilities.. and.. yeah. its odd. Why are they so expensive aswel ?! Sucks.

  • ya i have a set of electronic Roland drums, they cut out every once and a while, but i like the whole being able to turn them down part, good luck

  • what model is that?

  • Круто!

  • i had to turn this off because it was so awesome i was so greedy and now and dieing for steel drums

  • they are electric drums on steel drum setting. not steel drums. but if thats what you want you can get that..

  • hears one,

    GET SOME STEEL DRUMS :D
