Would be great for electric cars too. I say put false prejudices aside, like when we though the world was flat, and stop letting others tell us what we can or can't do, and do all we can to stick it to the people who make us spend our lives working to pay for energy we could be getting for free. Think how much of your paycheck goes on electricity, or petrol, or your car, or in taxes on other items you buy to pay for the fuel to get them to you. How much better would the world be with free power?
Guys. perpetual motion or "free energy" is impossible. It will never be, and never can be. It goes agains't the basic laws of physics! Think about it: The law of conservation of matter and energy says that matter and energy can't be made or destroyed, it only changes form. If you make a "free energy" machine, you are taking energy out without putting any in, and are "making" energy and thus breaking the basic laws of physics.
Cosmic microwave background radiation: Tesla also investigated harvesting energy that is present throughout space. He believed that it was merely a question of time when men would succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheelwork of nature, stating: "Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe."
what crystals are vest? could you make a crystal powder/with little bit of water(since its on an atomic level...) and introduce and elecrtic current or magnetic current and then add something to make the mix to make it a solid?
@BoltOfThundor Well actually, frozen water molecules do have more of a magnetic field than it does when in liquid phase. Think of a really bad thunderstorm, in the very middle part of the storm head, the water temperature is well below freezing! The clouds become highly electric or negatively charged. Against the positively charged ground, this causes lightning.
@kingx989 last I heard, scientist also though that electrostatic build up had some thing to do with it.
But, I think that electrostatic is a property of solid matter? which would make more sense when there are solidified water particles in the cloud, which, generally deposits on dust, and such.
(IE, African dust storms spread particles high into the atmosphere and humans tried to mimic the affect by spraying clouds over farm land, though that was not so successful.)
@BoltOfThundor Yes, solid water has an electrostatic charge. But that electrostatic energy has to come from somewhere. When water rises as steam and condenses to ice rapidly, it becomes negatively charged. The heat from the hot ground has to go somewhere! So it turns into lightning and thus feeding the process. Just like hot clothes from the dryer, the heat transforms to static as soon as you pull them out under certain conditions.
@ellamcoy hi are u still active on this channel? have u discovered yet why this will never be practical? (even with a broadspectrum sensitive crystal, and even with a few of them collecting the entire waveform and rectifying it)
I wonder what the production costs would be for a matterial that could do that, as compared to ordinary solor cells which do essentially the same thing only for em waves about the visible spectrum.
What ever new energy the "power elite" allow to initiate into mainstream will only happen after their affairs and infrastructure have been finalized. It's not the availability it's the timing. To them ecosystem damage is only incidental.
@iHeartElectricalEng But, more then likely that's one of the most effective ways of catching people onto the video. He does backtrack to say that conservation of matter is a law, so all's well.
I forexample was looking for this in-specific, so I typed in "free energy..." as my first search attempt.
So basically a crystal which is composed of millions of tiny bridge rectifiers that pick up radio waves? Sounds plausible but I wonder how big it would need to be to actally get enough power to do an thing usefull.
Yes I agree ... CHANGE THE NAME of your video. I personally had great success with and array of Germanium diode half and full bridges plus capacitors to "tune-wise" collect energy from the background. The 'sourcies' of energy received were easy to determine, ie. radio transmissions, bradcast tv,, etc. but some were out of the range of the man-made spectra, meaning the balance came from space or aether (aether / or ... ha ha). I proved the validity of this 15 years ago. So ... NEXT STEP?
I would recommend changing the name of your video to get more views, the name as it is is very misleading. i generally liked the video but saw problems with the applications of such a crystal, such as it being very brittle and would break very easily. interesting, nonetheless. makes wayy more sence than that "black light power"
pfft... What is the use of capturing radio frequency waves with ~90% efficient process when total RF noise intensity is at best several micro watts per square meter, compared to 1400+ watts per square meter of usable visible light. ???
Anyone interested in harvesting RF energy should be interested in 3 major radio noise sources Sagittarius A, Sun and Jupiter.
Good luck extracting any usable power from those most powerful sources with earth ionosphere shielding anything below ...
@th3dig1tal0n3 How much infrared energy is there? what if people wore clothing with this crystal woven into it along with capacitors couldn't you power all your gadgets with your body heat?
Interesting concept. Patent, ti it is novel one. You'll get rich. Lucky You.
With my pity knowledge in physics and 20 year experience in electronics I have never ever experienced infrared ( or heat, even lower energy ) to crystal to capacitors electricity.
About physics. Some processes, especially heat driven require large temperature differential to achieve meaningful energy conversion ratio. Some of them are extremely inefficient.
Capacitors are the problem. Infrared is so high frequency that any capacity is short circuit, so nanodiode even if it existed is doomed to fail at converting IR radio spectrum to usable DC voltage.
There is another device (patented) that works as quantum diode, and produces so small power that platen holder doesn't have any intention of trying to make prototype.
I have mentioned radio noise from 3 major natural sources because they are far more exploitable with today technology.
@th3dig1tal0n3 I don't think the video suggested capturing only RF. I believe he stated the crystal will oscillate from any ambient e-m frequency and generate a coherent signal..
@dudemane666 That is very interesting crystal if it can do that.
Circuits or physical processes exhibiting tank behavior are frequency dependent and narrow-band.
The available power for extraction form above-centimeter, centimeter, millimeter, and wavelengths up to infrared is so small that usable energy would hardly be useful as batteries replacement. Even with 90% efficiency it boils down to device size because of low energy content of sub-infrared e-m spectrum.
@Dodexas Edison & Westinhouse couldn't go passed dollar signs. They didn't reckon that a completely new type of delivery & accounting systems would be needed. Losers in the long run. They didn't know zip about electricity. Tesla was a victim of their greed and it would be a long time before he was vindicated. Tesla was also a victim of his own fear of germs; they ruled his life; he was like H.Hughes.
Why quasi-crystals, when nature is abundant with more ready-made stuff, such as metals ? Look at Bible, how the Ark Of Covenant was made, it's not hidden (never was): giant electricity generator of ancient times. John Hutchinson HAD replicated it, and it worked (including flying entities, that could be seen on the video, on his web-page).

This is a crystal set for radio waves. It is a solar panel for light waves.
You will have to have a resonant antenna so to speak for each frequency. These crystals will only work at their resonance.
