The only problem Obama has with his argument in relation to the FISA bill, is he mentions National Security. However, the trump card for Obama, and the point at which he is exposed as a fraud is the fact that the wiretaps took place before Sept 11, 2001. The relevance for this has to do with Quest Communications unwillingness to participate in the scheme because they deemed it illegal. Since Sept 11 had not occurred yet there was no legal justification.
