  • Love your rendition of "I Surrender All", and the guitar sounds great, too!

  • if you don't mind me asking i am new to guitars what is the difference between a Gibson Songwriter and Gibson SJ200 ? and do all the different models of that specific guitar do some special, lol?

  • The Gibson Songwriter guitar is a dreadnought size guitar and the J200 is a Jumbo guitar. Songwriter generally has a rosewood back and sides while the J200 usually has maple back and sides. They are completely different animals but still both are good guitars.

  • Hello Mr. Bob. I've seen your videos and i've been falling in love with your acoustic guitars. I own a gibson blues king ec30 and i'm thinking about selling it here in Brazil and get the money to buy a brand new gibson j200 with cutway and pick up. I've checked your store website but didn't find any gibson acoustic like the one i mentioned. When r u going to have it, and how does it work about the shipping to Brazil (south america)? Tks for your time and congratulations on your job.

  • Thank you. We don't really have many for these great Gibson guitars right now. They have become hard and harder to get these days. We hear the roomers that the company is for sale. Hopefully it will all be resolved soon.

  • That J200 sounds very nice.

  • Thank you very much!

  • Saweettttt GeeTar..............love it

  • miam....!

  • Can ya get the J-200 in electro?

  • Sure, almost all acoustic Guitars now can come in Acoustic Electric.

  • nice sound :D

  • Sounds sooooo good. People say it's a strummer, but man does it sound great fingerpicked like that.

  • Yes, these jumbo's are amazing for almost all types and styles of playing.

  • Nobody makes a maple jumbo like Gibson. Someday I'll get one!

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeeeee sj200. i wanted it for so long. *sigh

  • Never mind Bobby.... I can see it now,it's either a hummingbird or a dove.thanks anyway, but please tell me if you have made that comparison between the epi and gibson.thanks.

  • I'm sorry, I don't know a lot about Epiphone. We don't carry them and I really have not had much experience with them.

  • Have you ever compared the epiphone j 200 or the j 200 ce to that gibson? Also what is that beautiful guitar hanging on the wall behind you?(not the cut away)thanks for your time.

  • It is a Dove. I have recently gotten a 2007 1960's Dove Custom Shop Guitar that may be the best sounding Gibson I have ever had in my hands. I'll need to do a video with it soon.

  • That is one mighty fine guitar

  • how much is that guitar to buy??

  • about 3500-4000 dollars US

  • i have that guitar!

    i'm a lefty too!

but i have it in the sunburst

  • Sunburst is nice. I have always wondered if I would have been better as a lefty. The left hand or neck hand has 132 choices while the right hand has only 6. A person who has the advantage in the left hand has a great advantage. That is why some of the great players ever have been left handed, in my opinion.

  • yeah i'd definitely agree with you on that:) I'd have to say I'm very lucky seeing as I'm 16 and own one of these. Once I'm old the sound will be even more magical!

  • Good stuff Bobby, they really are something special-

  • Thanks, I am really blessed to be able to play great guitars everyday.

  • DROOLS. DUDE, YOU ARE AMAZING.can i have it?!

  • Thank you! Almost anyone can play like this with 40 years of practice.

  • Beautiful guitar! Love Gibsons. I currently own a "SJ200-TV" and a "SJ200 Dwight Yoakam Y2K Edition" I am looking for a Gibson witch seems hard to find, the Gibson "L7-C Archtop" Acoustic. Do you carry those?

    Cheers!

  • Wow! You have some really nice pieces. WE do not currently have an L7-C but we do have them from time to time.

  • nice! that is my dream guitar, but I will never be able to buy such a guitar..

  • Thanks, and you never know what opportunities may come your way with your "Dream" guitar.

  • Very nice. You had a bit of a "John Fahey" sound giong for you there. You have a very nice website, also.

  • Thank you very much.
