Awsome, looks like I'm geting one of these and a reverse valvebody apparently. I was origionaly drawn away from ratchet shifters because I thought you could only push to upshift. One question though. Say I had one of these on a C4 3-speed with the reverse valvebody... Could I still throw it in "III" (3rd lol) and start from a stop like it was in drive, or would I have to manualy select gears every up/downshift? Thanks! 5*
it would be nice if they had a shifter without the horseshoe design, i really want one for my truck but can't live with putting a chevy looking part in my ford
Its backwards because he is using a shifter set up for a reverse pattern valvebody. But his tranny is set up traditional forward style. I dont know why he wouldnt use the proper plate for the video but hey its a nice shifter and I just bought one!

The shifter works with all the classic, domestic transmissions.
