Hey Darryld1 - have you ever heard of something called "Rehearsal?" It works on the same premise and it WORKS. As to the nominalization "memory muscle" it's a metaphor. People can be trained to have better memories through doing specific exercises to build up a stronger memory - so the memory is like a muscle in that it gets stronger through use. Also, look up the UCLA study on imagination and basketball basket shooting. It's been replicated dozens of times. Do your homework before dissing
