  • too bad I'm very bright beautiful young woman who has a lot to offer the world

  • life has been cruel to me for an extent. i lost everything.. but most important i lost hope and self repect and pride. my life was not supposed tobe like this.. but I had an inkling it would. God has frowned upon me and has let me suffer none of my bros and sisters had to deal with stagnation in their life.. they all are blessed and moved ahead in life. with their families, marriages, jobs or schooling. God has mocked me and deespise me

  • i take celexa and i felt suicidal for a while. i am a trained med tech and cna. i can't get a decent job because i lack a car for 3 years and i can only get min wage because there is poor public transportation wher i live i should be making 12 to 13 hour with my education. never been married or kids and rely people to help get my basic needs met by taking me to the grocery store. there isn't much of a way out of it

  • i that was illuminating

  • i watched this when i was depressed

  • I've seen stupid videos in my life.. but this..

  • loool

  • I started on Wellbutrin, next to Celexa, then it was Effexor, Then from there is was Cymbalta. When I first started on anti-depressants they felt like just what I needed. I felt good, I laughed a lot, I always was in a positive optimistic mood. Believe it or not it all started with just one pill Wellbutrin which was administered just after my coming clean off of street drugs and alcohol addiction. Currently I am on: hydroxiyzine, trazodone, clontidine, and Cymbalta. I feel like killing myself. ☹

  • stupid-ass video...sure anti-depressants and SSRIs like Sertraline HCL can cause that exact scenario you just described, that's why the FDA BLACK BOXED it warning the people who are half-retarded who don't read labels on OTC drugs and OD on Tylenol to say "Hey this might increase suicidal thoughts and actions"...but really for every one Suicide Zoloft causes theres probably 1000 people it helps make it through everyday.. rhetoric like this is whats dumbing down america..READ THE LABEL CHRIST

  • Retarded video. completely off topic.

  • wow.. I couldn't have put it better myself. I been on every anti depressant known to man and I still felt like shit at the end of it all.

  • @Vektr1 Everything seems, to be politically incorrect for a moment, "retarded" if you're too dumb to understand what's going on. YOU, for example. I wish I could trade my emotional state with you for a day to show how it feels. Then I'd be happy for a day. Yes, ignorant, arrogant, a little stupid, but still -- happy. Have a nice life.

  • Comment removed

  • @Vektr1 Mentally disturbed? Yeah. The doc tried to put me on a "new" antidepressant. Makes it worse so yeah I'm going through such videos. By tomorrow I should be able to eat chocolate again, have cold cuts , drink coffee and even beer without severe reactions since he took me off the Prandase. And replace it with what? All I know is it's not going to be Zoloft. Good luck to those for whom it works. There seems to be no magic drug for everyone.

  • "well, er, maybe you should take another Zoloft" lol

  • Nicely said.

  • This video is the ordinary feeling about anti-depressants from someone who has never dealt with anxiety, depression, or OCD. While I don't currently take Zoloft or any other type of drug, they don't just "make you happy"; they make it so you don't idle on depression. Most people who take anti-depressants aren't sad because of circumstances that happened in their life, but they have chemical imbalances. I personally had (still have kind to a certain degree) OCD, and Zoloft made me not worry.

  • Very, very, very good video! I agree 100% and I know, what I'm saying, because I know this subject...

Psychiatric drugs will not solve your real problems. Psychiatric drugs are offering only unnatural, chemical control over emotions. And this is not good idea. It's like using narcotics or alcohol, to make yourself more happy...

    The real solution is:

    1. Find the reasons of your sadness, frustrations, anger, unadaptation.

    2. Make change in your life.

  • @Lostfault

Your such a cunt !!! I hope you commit suicide!

  • Lots of bullshit. Medication is supposed to help you clear your mind of depression and other disorders so you can understand the true level of your problems, if there are any real problems and they re not just pure crap from depression, so you ll be able to solve them.

  • when you take anti depressants that work for you, you feel like you just got out of a fog. thats pretty much how you feel and then everything makes sense again, thats what i got from it.

  • @WizzardOfGlue Of course if you've been in a fog - when you're walking at least, the local vicinity of one or two meters still seems pretty clear. It's like the fog moves out of your way. Obstacles aren't that willing to move for you when you feel depressed and/or your medication isn't working right. Now I'm without antidepressants. My system has to be free of Effexor before I start my newly prescribed MAO Inhibitor, Parnate. Will it help? I don't know. Welcome to the hamster wheel of life.

  • did you kill yourself yet?

  • @pitbullboy100 MAybe I should. For once I could make the world a better place

  • Funny but ignorant. The problems I have are caused by the depression not the other way around. My friends invite me places, I go to a great grad school, I have family who love me, yet I I don't enjoy anyone's company. I isolate myself because of irrational feelings of inadequacy and other nonsensicle thought patterns. Things that are supposed to be fun aren't. Not saying whether or not Zoloft achieves this, but the idea is that it helps you tamp down those irrational feelings until you learn.

  • are you me? lol

  • Exactly, when you suffer from depression, DEPRESSION is your biggest problem, not other things!

  • I don't like this video. Zoloft isn't like that at all, which you obviously don't understand. Zoloft basically helps you pick yourself up and function so you can work through your problems and get better. And not everyone who takes Zoloft is depressed. What about people who take it because they have OCD and can barely function some days? I don't know about you, but I would much rather be on a dose of anti depressants and go to therapy to work through everyhting than to struggle every single day.

  • most likely you have a vit or mineral deficiency and are obviously fortunate enough to be a ultra rapid metaboliser benefiting from nothing more than the placebo affect. If you get tested you will be able to see that the drug hits your system and then immediately leaves it. What about those 30% on the other side slow metaboliser, this drug makes them more depressed and can even provoke psychosis. The genes are the CYP450 and this stuff is fact a better way to judge than pharma PR lingo

  • you would rly like to be on antidepressants? your fucking stupid my cousin killed my granparents because of fucking zoloft so its not all good like your making it sound consider other peoples expirience before you try to be a fagget. peace

  • @djgriffi723 Dude, really? First of all, if you're going to insult me, learn to spell. And also, maybe you should consider other people's experiences as well. It works for me. It does good things for me. I know very well that it doesn't work that way for everyone, though. Insulting someone who uses it who's sharing their personal opinion and disagreeing with yout is just lame. Way to go.

  • @themoonlanding0 Being artificially happy on PILLS doesn't always work. I've been on medication since 1992.

I was hospitalized before it came to that. THe doctor in his wisdom at ont time tried me on Zoloft. I was hospitalized at that point too. He took me off of Prozac to give me Zoloft. My younger bro confiscated the rest of my Prozac and ate them. Said they did nothing for him. But I've been on antidepressants. Still life is a struggle. I have to stop for a week before I go on my new stuff

  • If you put your children on this drug, you deserve to be thrown in jail. Take my word for it, they will not forgive you. Do yourself and your kids a favor. When some evil shrink tells you that your kid is in need of psychotropic drugs, walk away. It's that simple. Then, sit down and talk to your kid, and help them to work through their problems without drugs.

  • BULLSHIT!!! they put me on that crap when I was young, and it fucked me up for life. It did not make me happy, it did not make me forget any of my problems, in fact it created many more problems. I almost killed myself and I still don't know why I felt this strange compulsion to kill others and myself. Thankfully, I never acted on those drug-induced impulses, like so many others, but I have been robbed of all chance to ever have a normal life.

  • Antidepressants are actually nessicery options for some individuals. It's not 'ignoring your problems' or whatever, it's that little boost to get you through the day. So that you can have the energy and drive to fix your problems.

  • i take Vilift, it's really effective and safe. i have a fried who uses it too and it's been working wonders for her too.

  • This video should be removed...... Someone please report

  • funny, yet true

  • This is the most retarded thing i´ve ever seen. Depression is not caused because some bird shits on you. Serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine are naturally present in the brain and assist communication between nerve cells. Monoamines have been implicated in depression, and most antidepressants work to increase the active levels of at least one. Antidepressants help people to get better. And this video is a joke. You obviously don´t know what it is like to be depressed.

  • Vilift helped me, it really made me feel more happy and more relax.

  • i am so happy now with Vilift, it's all natural and safe.

  • ...

  • oh yeah im like tawtally oh like tawtally college kid lingo tawtally

  • Sertraline does not make you happy, it helps you survive and at best get some much needed hope. Please don't ridicule something you don't understand. Clinical depression is an actual illness which kills. Make fun of serious things but please educate yourself. This unfairly stigmatizes people who need it.

  • this is actually so true it hurts

  • Vilift is great in my case, it gave me my life back.

  • oh lala im so happy, an then out of no where u spill the ice cream...

  • lol i love this. Pretty true too. i read the "noonday demon" good book. shouldn't take meds unless your pretty much about to kill yourself anyway. like serious, can't get out of bed or eat. taking meds may cause your body to stop producing the "i forgot what it's called" so that if you stop taking the med, you'll be stuck being depressed.

  • how many mgs of zoloft makes you high?

  • Did u actually take it as directed or are you some ignant druggy who popped some zoloft from your floating head druggy friend?

  • There's different kinds of depression. No antidepressant can make your problems go away. But, in many people, antidepressants can relieve the darkness of clinical or organic depression long enough to make the person feel they are able to address their problems and start looking for solutions. Some people just need that extra help to balance out their brain chemistry. You need to get real about your expectations regarding the purpose of antidepressants.

  • Zoloft allows me to do something about my problems instead of letting them control me. When I was depressed I was too afraid to do anything I was fucking depressed. I just wanted to curl up and die and if I had a chance to get better I would deny it because I was like whats the point. Zoloft saved my life. I'm now more in touch with my true inner feelings

  • do u still take it n how many dose@Seabass307

  • @xxnezsaxx Yes, 100mg/day

  • did u gain weight@Seabass307

  • @xxnezsaxx At first yes. Over the course of a 1.5 years I went from 130-155lbs but then again I'm still a growing boy. This summer I'm back down to 140lbs with most of that being muscle, the gym can be a very addicting and pleasurable habit. Can't really say if Zoloft is to account for that weight (fat) gain but it probably helped. For me, the first couple weeks felt odd emotionally but after dosage titrations 100mg turned out to be just right for ME. Its good tool in hands of good psychologist

  • yea i had zoloft before it worked i was in 100 then 50 for a while i gain mad weight thren lower 25 mg then off it n ow for almost a yr n i have thte feeling bak again not sure if i wanna go bak to zoloft so now im just doing b complex bc i heard that wat we need if we get anxiety and stuff . so imma try this first@Seabass307

  • I take zoloft to function so I can get on with my life. I still think this is pretty funny, except the bit at the end. But seriously that's what zoloft is really like. Zones me out and makes me happy!! To be honest - we're all wearing a mask.

  • Well, fuck. Red headed guy doesn't need Zoloft. Clinically depressed people need Zoloft. Red headed guy isn't clinically depressed, because anyone would be feeling a little miserable if they spilled their ice cream, (which would result in a sticky chest. No one likes that.) got hit by a car, and dumped by your girlfriend, all in the same day. So, for red headed guy to be depressed is pretty normal, considering all the shit he went through.

  • zoloft saved my life. it didn't change anything about me except it helped me regain control and perspective. if you're using zoloft because of bad circumstances that's one thing but some of us do have a biological problem.

  • Agreed zoloft helped me with my life too.

It didnt mask anything... it helped me live my life again... so it helped me take off a mask... if you know what I mean? lol

  • OMG The faces in the end were KILLER-ROFL--- and then "THE END" LOL Great job :)

  • your so noobs.Zoloft helps people in order to believe it.dont dissapoint the people who want to get over!!idiots!!

  • Zolofts are happy pills just hiding the truth of life with a mask, it's not a medical disease like the doctor suppositely says it is, it just stimulates your happiness. I just hope users of these pills find a purpose of life before the pills get to you.

  • Ha ha I take Zoloft, and I think this is funny. It's just a bit of fun, makes me laugh.

  • The mic go's in front of your mouth not in it!

  • Come on people! I am severely depressed (TAKING zolfoft), yet I found this funny

  • it's sad but true.. Zoloft is shit stuff..

  • So, now I'm waiting for videos about anti-cancer medications like chemotherapy and fatal result of using it and death-ending cancer diseases. Thanks for hope for really sick people.

  • hmm this video is cruel for those that are so deeply depressed, seeked help and are taking zoloft. They came here looking for something that is their only hope to get out of the huge black hole of depression

  • So sad, but true...

  • great video, so true
