If you would have watched up for german military, then you would know that our ground forces are better equipped than any other in this world! Of course others have more manpower and verhicles etc.! USA will introduce the german HK 416 as the new assult rifle, furthermore you will buy 1000 Dingo 2 freom germany to replace the Humvees! And then watch up Frigates sachesn class F124,F125, SUbmariens type 212a, Leopard 2A6, Puma, BOXER GTK, G36 then you will know that there is no concurence!

Let's go with the training first. Personally, I think ours are much better trained, and have had MUCH more expierence than yours. Of course, there's no point in discusing it, because neither of us are going to get any where as since we are not in the military. Never said America is the best in everything, but we try our best! You should just see that Germany also has excelletn equipmet! the us is planning to buy 1000 of our Dingo 2 to replace the Humvees, and the Heckler and Koch HK 416 whcih was deveolped by german engineers will probably be you new assult rifle! Germany for example uses the G36 which is said to be the most accurate assult rifle at the moment!
The SIg 550 is also a very good gun, it's from Switzerland! ALso the Steyr AUG from Austria is a good gun! But ypu see most special forces prefer the G36 in it's different varieties!
The G36 has probably the best scope, it's an assult rifle whcih you can trust, it's MADE IN GERMANY! And Germany stuff is usually state of the art!
German know how to build weapons systems for sure, especially when it comes down to small arms. HK is one of the best and not for nothing. The 550/1/2 from SIG is also one of the preferred guns of SF's.
But I have to disagree with the Steyr Aug. It's not a reliable weapon as well as not a accurate one. Onyl advantage of it is, that its small because of the bullup system.
Saying that you have the best equpiment is just arrogant. Yes, you have good equipment, but in some areas the US is bether equiped and in others you are.
And the HK 416 is one of the competitors for beeing the new assault rifle, but there are many others in that competition and the Army will rather pick a local company like Colt, than a foreign.
And the US Army has allready begun to replace their Humvees with Cugars.
Germany does not have a superior military compared to the united states first off. (I am one who has a huge percentage of German blood in him). Also Germany has not been in combat as much as the united states. so saying that Leopard is better is false information since the Leopard has no real combat experience, but the Abrams has had a large amount of combat experience.
um yeah about guns at last count in the first go around in iraq we had a gunner who shot at a t72 or the like and he actually shot 2 t72s or the like blew the turrets off both
Kind of conlusion, Both tanks are excellent! But in thest the Leopard got 36 targets of 40 while driving full speed! The Abrams only got 25 whild driving slowly! So it depends also on the Crew! And Our Crews are also very good trained! We have bases in Canada (winnipeg) where every Crew has to go to train with real ammo!

The Leopard 2A6/M (newest version) is far superior to the Abrams! The Abrams even uses the German targeting system and the old German l44 gun from RHeinmetall! Leo 2A6 already has the newer and more effective l55 gun! Germany IS good, but the technology is not VERY close to the US. They have a good military, but America is in the Top FIVE World Powers. They aren't. Oh, and Australia is buying Abrams not Leopards. About the same amount of countries that are buying the leopard is buying the abrams. I prefere range than mobility.

I don't think that Germany is anywhere near America on the ground. We have best trained troops, best equipment, best UAV's for aiding the ground, best tanks, best Special Ops, best snipers, best artillery, best of everything. Nonetheless, Germany is a VERY good country when it comes to technology. Thankfully, with the best air, our ground troops are protected from aerial attacks. You can't say that Germany is BETTER than the US on the ground. definately good though.

US has best tanks and I have never heard of the Abrams missing as you state. We already have the Bradley. Yes, they are excellent trained...I believe our's are better trained though. We have the Virginia Class Sub and the Zimwault Class Destroyers. We, as you know, have nuclear aircraft carriers! We of course have nuclear weapons as well as best air force. All in all, US is way above Germany, but I'm not saying that Germany has bad technology, Im saying that the US is better.
The Leopard 2 VS Abrams discussion can go on for ages, but no doubt is the German PzH 2000 artillery better than the M109A6 Paladin, and I'd also rank the PUMA (and even Marder A3) above the Bradley, but that is much because the bradley failed hard when the Norwegian army tested them.
And they both use M270 MLRS/MARS.

The APAR is the most modern System and the Sachsen CLass can detect stealth missiles and Stealth aricrafts! Have you ever seen the F124, thos ships are stealth ships due to their construction!

We came into WWII on Dec. 8th, 1941...not '44. '44 was the invasion of Normandy. The Abrams has seen more action and by far more tank battles than the Leo, and the Leo was not involved in a real tank battle yet. Still I would also say that it is the bether tank than the abrams, but in a 1:1 fight the abrams would have its chance as well.
And regarding the ground forces I would not be that sure. German soldiers a good trained and have very good euqipemnt. But the US Forces have seen more action (and more intense one) and have good equipment as well.

I tend to think the opposite. The Abrams tank is so well built that once an abrams tried to destroy it and couldn't. In all friendly fire incidents with other Abrams the Abrams survived and countinued fighting.

Is has it's inperfections as well. Our troops are one of the best trained and most lethal warriors in the world. I would have to say that Germany has always been know for good technologies, though. Abrams has the best protection with the engine in the front. The Leopard has the engine in the rear. Plus the Abrams is designed so that it can't be penetrated by HEAT missiles. To win a desisve victory you not only must have a superior ground force but an excelent air force. Our armed forces have a great combination of all.
The Leopard engine can be replaced in the battlefield within 20 minutes! If the Abrams engine is broken the Abrams can't be repaired in the battlefield!

Let's go with the training first. Personally, I think ours are much better trained, and have had MUCH more expierence than yours. Of course, there's no point in discusing it, because neither of us are going to get any where as since we are not in the military. Never said America is the best in everything, but we try our best! You should just see that Germany also has excelletn equipmet! the us is planning to buy 1000 of our Dingo 2 to replace the Humvees, and the Heckler and Koch HK 416 whcih was deveolped by german engineers will probably be you new assult rifle! Yeah, germany has good equipment, but the US have also good equipment and they have more experience than the german troops.
And the G36 part is wrong.
The SIG 550 is as accurate as the G36 (if not superior) and is simpler in mechanics and maintainence.

The SIg 550 is also a very good gun, it's from Switzerland! ALso the Steyr AUG from Austria is a good gun! But ypu see most special forces prefer the G36 in it's different varieties!
The G36 has probably the best scope, it's an assult rifle whcih you can trust, it's MADE IN GERMANY! And Germany stuff is usually state of the art!

German know how to build weapons systems for sure, especially when it comes down to small arms. HK is one of the best and not for nothing. The 550/1/2 from SIG is also one of the preferred guns of SF's.
But I have to disagree with the Steyr Aug. It's not a reliable weapon as well as not a accurate one. Onyl advantage of it is, that its small because of the bullup system.

Saying that you have the best equpiment is just arrogant. Yes, you have good equipment, but in some areas the US is bether equiped and in others you are.
And the HK 416 is one of the competitors for beeing the new assault rifle, but there are many others in that competition and the Army will rather pick a local company like Colt, than a foreign.
And the US Army has allready begun to replace their Humvees with Cugars.

Also Germany has not been in combat as much as the united states. so saying that Leopard is better is false information since the Leopard has no real combat experience, but the Abrams has had a large amount of combat experience.

Kind of conlusion, Both tanks are excellent! But in thest the Leopard got 36 targets of 40 while driving full speed! The Abrams only got 25 whild driving slowly! So it depends also on the Crew! And Our Crews are also very good trained! We have bases in Canada (winnipeg) where every Crew has to go to train with real ammo!

The Leopard 2A6/M (newest version) is far superior to the Abrams! The Abrams even uses the German targeting system and the old German l44 gun from RHeinmetall! Leo 2A6 already has the newer and more effective l55 gun! I don't care if it uses German targeting systems, so long as they work. they are being upgraded to the l55. Comanche WAS stopped but isn't now. American artillery can fire 120 km. We have the best air force. no doubt on that. Virginia Class Sub has a high tech way to avoid detection. We had the best tanks and stuff in ww2 and we even do have it today! The XM 8 for example was developped by Gerrman engineers! ANyway the new assult rifle of the US Army will probably be the Heckler and Koch HK416! Germany and Austria have the ebst assult rifle, the G36 and the AUG! We have best trained troops, best equipment, best UAV's for aiding the ground, best tanks, best Special Ops, best snipers, best artillery, best of everything. Nonetheless, Germany is a VERY good country when it comes to technology. Thankfully, with the best air, our ground troops are protected from aerial attacks. You can't say that Germany is BETTER than the US on the ground. definately good though.

The Leopard 2 VS Abrams discussion can go on for ages, but no doubt is the German PzH 2000 artillery better than the M109A6 Paladin, and I'd also rank the PUMA (and even Marder A3) above the Bradley, but that is much because the bradley failed hard when the Norwegian army tested them.
And they both use M270 MLRS/MARS.
I do think the US of A would win in a theoretical war against Germany though. They have numbers, air and sea power on their side.

The F124 class can detect the F22 stealth fighter and it's the most modern Frigate class in the world! The german Bundeswehr detects your stealth bombers witrh the weather radar! And the Leopard 2A6 is the best tnak and even the mos sold! Germany also has excellent equipment!

The Abrams has seen more action and by far more tank battles than the Leo, and the Leo was not involved in a real tank battle yet. Still I would also say that it is the bether tank than the abrams, but in a 1:1 fight the abrams would have its chance as well.
And regarding the ground forces I would not be that sure. German soldiers a good trained and have very good euqipemnt. But the US Forces have seen more action (and more intense one) and have good equipment as well.

But German soldiers are well trained and they would succeed! In Afghanistan our soldiers are ven better equipped than any other nation there!

I tend to think the opposite. The Abrams tank is so well built that once an abrams tried to destroy it and couldn't. In all friendly fire incidents with other Abrams the Abrams survived and countinued fighting.

The US Army has selected Honeywell International Engines and Systems and General Electric to develop a new LV100-5 gas turbine engine for the M1A2. Only the Airforce is better! We have the best Ground forces! For sure US army is excellent but ours is also excellent! SO it's very good we are allies!

Maybe Germany doesn't have a bad army, but the U.S. is ahead of them by quite abit.

Well US is ahead concerning quantity but the quality is mor or less the same! Germany has alwys been know for making good weapon systems! The Abrams uses the German Gun from RHeinmetall and the german targeting system!

Have you ever Heard of the Type 212a? US is very keen on getting this German techology! Becaus Submarines can't be heard any more! And even US buys G36 for their special forces!

It is said that America is not the best science lab, but it is the best when it comes to using it. The Abrams tank is by far the best tank in the world. Unnmatched by any other tank. Is has it's inperfections as well. Our troops are one of the best trained and most lethal warriors in the world. I would have to say that Germany has always been know for good technologies, though. All armed forces have their advantages and disadvantages, but all in all, we are in the lead.

Concernign Ground forces you troops are not better! Also not better trained! Leopard 2 is the best tank out there! Only thin US is better is the Navy!

The Abrams is the best combat-tested tank in the world.The Leopard hasn't been tested in combat. In the Persian Gulf War, the U.S. lost four Abrams. How many of the crew was lost? ZERO. We made the Javelin anti-tank missile. If a German soldier and a U.S. Marine came together to practice their hand to hand combat, who do you think would be the winner? Our soldiers are confident in what they are doing. They know that the task in front of them is not as great as the power behind them.

The Leopard is battle prooven in Afghanistan by the canadians! Why do you think canadians don't by the Abrams olthough th Abrams is cheaper than the Leopard! Many countries in EU have the Leopard and not the Abrams! And in ww2 we didn't have much experience but our soldiers are xecellent trained even in non war times! I have talked to a German soldier who was in Afghanistan and he told me that In Afghansitan the German Bundeswehr is the best equipped represented army there!

The Abrams has been battle proven against more sofisticated enemies than the Taliban. Leopard has not been proven to be able to withstand other tanks. I do think that the Leopard isn't a bad tank, though. I'd rather be in an Abrams than a Leopard. The Abrams is protected from nuclear, biological, and chemical warefare.

So is the Leopard! Best firepower, best protection, just the best combination of all! THe Leopard 2A6 already has the L55 Gun! The Abrams has the old L44 Gun! SO i think the Leopard is the best tank! And in ww2 our tanks also haven't been battleproven, anyway they were the best!

Abrams has the best protection with the engine in the front. The Leopard has the engine in the rear. Plus the Abrams is designed so that it can't be penetrated by HEAT missiles. To win a desisve victory you not only must have a superior ground force but an excelent air force. Our armed forces have a great combination of all.

The Leopard engine can be replaced in the battlefield within 20 minutes! If the Abrams engine is broken the Abrams can't be repaired in the battlefield!

Except for one problem... if a misssile hit the Leopards engine, who's going to repair it? Any tank with the L44 gun can be upgraded to the L55.

Yeah but at the moment the Leopard 2A6 is the best tank! Even Canadians buy the Leopard although the Abrams is cheaper and the US is neighbor to Canada! I twould also be cheaper concerning transport costs! The Abrams has a gas turbine which is not very good for heat seeking missiles and the infantry can't take cover behind the M1 cause of the gas turbine!
