I had a pet ferret as a kid and it bit me straight through the bottom lip. for people to say shit about this video u all hypocrits, what you think the animals have togo through to end up in our super markets, you all eat that and don't complain
hey you sick little bastard......that rabbit is still breathing....kill the fucking thing first. pest or no pest... your definitely NOT an ethical hunter..are you. no better than the gooks. .......
@sudaneseareshit eat shit and die you cunt! our cavemen forefathers were doing this and we are keeping the skill alive if u dont like it fuck off and eat tofu
@lewisisaacox I KNOW i'm a hunter/shooter... and hunt with ferrets also........soon as i seen the rabbits back leg up...hang on ...its alive... so kill the fucking thing. the rabbit doesnt know its a pest animal..... it deserves a quick death.
PLEASE always practice ethical hunting...don't give PETA ammunition like this.
@saheh4092 because iv been doing it all me life and i found out by trial that if u dont leave the ferret kill the rabbit it losses all interest and stops hunting so wat do u sujest i should do
this is soo mean in my opinion i cant beleive people would do this to a rabbit and use ferrets to use this and actually get joy out of it but again this is just my opinion
lookes like 1 isent to keen on the rabbit i got 1 like tht wana kill the little bugger but i gotta keep puttn it down the holes and get it realy going nd finaly get them rabbits
thats sick, at least kill the rabbit first you morons. if this had happened in africa you would have said its inhumane but its ok for you to do it right?
@antiwarcampaigner It is dead. If you have any experience hunting rabbits you'll know they don't stay still even after being shot, as their nervous systems are very strong. He's simply encouraging their aggression towards rabbits, and in turn make the hunting more rewarding for the ferrets.
i dont think my ferret would be suited for ferreting really, hes growing up to be a fat shit already, plus hes soft as anything hed probably just play with the rabbits :p
ww w. rabbitingdays .c om new forum just come online, forum mod positions available, head to it guys its focused solely on rabbiting, and is 100% free, thanks guys
i used to have a few ferrets.. they are awsome pets! So entertaining. They are just a matter of upkeep as with any animal but even more so due to their smell even after descenting. Mine were naturalswhen it came to hunting instinct.
@243Beer no, its alive its breathing. But I guess its teaching them how to kill, I know mine are so domesticated they dont really know how to kill ;XD
@MudDobber247 They need some training from fairly young....from about 6 months onwards they can go down holes i think n then laern it. also small fast ferrets are better no fat hobs they lay up in the burrows to long :)
hi, i been looking into geting a couple of ferrets, reading about it online etc. are they happy to live outside in cages all year round or would we need a shed?
also, are there rules with hunting rabbit, seasions etc?
i dont know where to ask these questions so thort ide look here on youtube.
@richard39bucks I don't know about ferreting, but living ouside is fine as long as it doesn't get too hot or cold where you live and you make sure they have enough shade and bedding.
@richard39bucks rabbits can be hunted all year round and ferrets can be kept outside all year round but you should not hunt with ferrets during late sping summer because of young rabbits ferret goes down and kills every one while mature ones head away just a heads up
@BackYardHuntingPA You put little nets around rabbit holes, then you throw a ferret into another hole and he runs through the tunnels and the rabbits run out the back ends of the tunnels and into the traps.
I love Reading peoples comments, it's like a mini tv series!!!! Mum jokes included and a little testosterone thrown into the mix!!! I have 2 male ferrets, they are monsters!!! At least they have stopped next doors cat shitting in my back garden!!!
I would love to use a dog for rabbiting but in this case we were on an old railway bank next to a road so i had my health and safety head on! Thanks for watching db.
Sometimes the ferret will stay down a hole and eat the young. The adults will run like hell but the young are helpless and you sometimes lose the ferret because the little bastard won't come out!!!
I prefer to use dogs rather than nets. It's much more exiting seeing the dogs after them and it gives them a chance to escape. If you just want to kill kill kill because they are a pest then I suppose nets are best.
natural instinct for them to kill but don't really want ones that go down the hole and just rip the rabbits apart, but usually wen they go down the holes the rabbits fly out of other ones that why you use nets
if a ferret catches below ground they lay up, which is when you have to dig to them, which can take a while, i have seen rabbits that have had alot of the meat around the head eaten, but its usually the eyes. thankfully we dont eat that bit and the ferrets are welcome to it. also a friend of mine feeds his ferrets whole rabbits, this keeps them in alot better condition than mine which are fed on complete ferret food.
if u give them those dead animals they will become more aggressive..

basically we put nets that close up or 'purse' when the rabbit runs into them being pursued by our friendly team of ferrets
