i am the guy in the green shirt. yes, the car is still running and running strong. we built a transmission brace to keep the bucking sensation down and i would highly recommend looking into one. it is very quick. the initial pull and throttle hit is very responsive. its a very fun car to drive. the wastegate dump scares people on the road. lol

What exactly is a Mazdaspeed miata, here in the UK the models are just the mk1, 2, 2.5 and 3 mx5. Is the mazdaspeed miata a model? Im confused :P

It was an option on the second generation miatas, not sure if it was offered outside of the states. It had a small turbo that bumped the hp up to 178, better suspension, and mild changes to the body work.

It's a factory turbocharged miata in the US
