@nicole9264 they're not jealous. i co-sign. I have the soundtrack on audio cassette from years ago. it lists Vanessa Bell Calloway, Phylicia Rashad and a girl named Kamron Hack (if I recall correctly) who as listed every time "Polly" sang. I love Keshia, but I don't believe she's a singer. Years later she played the character Temple in What About Your Friends and she was supposed to sing in that too, but was also dubbed.

Is it just me or did they pick the wrong "mom" to be Polly's. on :11 you can see a photo of her parents. Aunt Polly is very tall and statuesque and although Polly is young she looks like she would grow up tall and thin too. Yet the mom looks more like a "big" woman then a svelte one. Shouldn't they have picked a thin woman to play her?

Watch it will turn out that those are the actresses real parents.

@wolf25ph I must've missed something, but I always assumed Aunt Polly was Polly's paternal aunt. I don't know why, I've just always assumed. I haven't seen the complete movie since the mid 1990s. =)

@NTK2A Honest mistake, however take into consideration. Movie based off of Pollyanna. In Pollyanna Aunt Polly is angry that sister married a missionary. In Polly Aunt Polly is angry sister married a minister. Also in both their father's (Aunt Polly's) started the towns. If they started a town and had a son, it doesn't seem likely that they would leave daughters in charge
