A hot afternoon in England .One of my greatest memories ever in HEAVY METAL,and probably embedded in my skull forever! I didnt much understand the press talking up Crue the week after , I honestly thought ACCEPT were so much better on the day! UDO was certainly on fire. Crue sounded rather empty to my metal ears to be truthful,more like a punk band infact. ACCEPT though were on fire.It was fun to watch the crue fans gettin out as we all pushed for the front. Their girl fans were groped silly.
I haven't heard this since the day of the gig when I was 13!!!!! Just an awesome gig even if it was spent ducking bottles of piss that flew overhead!! I remember around Gary Moore's set the sky just being black with airbourne plastic bottles! Which was probably a blessing as it stopped me getting sun stroke ha ha! I still have on C90 the Friday Rock show sets from Gary and Ozzy!!

@coltsuperocean10 and that 9 year old boy has got a voice that you could never dream of having...udo is the fucking man....why come on an accept video and insult the band and fans....the lead singer also happens to be a metal legend.
I was at this gig......Accept were new to the UK and some of the crowd were throwing mud/bottles at Bass player Peter Baltes.....I grabbed one guy in front of me and told him to lay off as they were one of the bands I'd come to see!!
They were excellent too...Wolf Hoffmann was superb that day, easily holding his own against a guitar line up including Gary Moore, Jake.E.Lee, Eddie Van Halen and Angus Young...What a great day that was, happy days!!
rushy, I was there too as a very young teenager (about 13) All the bands on the day were brilliant (except motley crue, who Ive always regarded as a bit of a joke!! ) Hot sunny day with brilliant lineup. I think I might still have a recording of Accepts set from Radio 1s rock show!!
if you havent found it yet. its on my page. but i think the new channel design crushed most of my playlists i created. To bad i didnt found the a recording version of the missing track (Love Child was played during motleys interview, about restless and wild i am not sure, I only know they played it in the MOR festival in germany.
