I believe this song to be about wanting to die. A while back in earlier Chiodos, Craig attempted to kill himself by overdosing on his prescribed Xanax. This was because of a few reasons: he's been battling with manic depression, bipolar disorder, and constant anxiety attacks for years.

In the song he also has a revelation where he realizes he can't kill himself, he's too afraid of death (Which could possibly be represented by the masked man).

i feel like this song & video is about wanting to die, but when you're potentially in a life/death situation, you back out and realize you don't actually want to. In the song- "..and i’m so used to being a coward, it’s all I’ve ever been, i quit before i win" i think he's saying that he would kill himself, but he can't because he's always been a coward. in the video, the guy takes pills (like hes going to kill himself or some sort) and when some guy starts chasing him, he's scared for his life.
