  • Where can I buy the 10 channel radio? Where did you bought it?

  • is that the radio that has 10 channels???

  • Hi, I bought my radio Hitech Optic 6 channel which can be shifted to 2.4gh by replacing modules. SO, the problem Im having is with the servos whilst my radio is off and I push held the trainer switch they move for a second then stops. But they keep moving themselves whilst my radio transmitter is off. Im worried! r they defective should they be replaced?

  • You can only trim so much with the radio. It's best to get all control servos as close to neutral from the start. then use the trim tabs to balance the plane, once you fly it the first time. then once that's done. I land and recenter all my servos to neutral. then save it for that plane.

  • hey dave what do you mean by you only have a certain amount of clicks as in you can only move it and change it a certain amount of times or you can only trim to your maximum also you have an awesome last name

  • can you do elevon/aileron mixing with the exceed rc 6 channel radio?

  • Hey Dave n Val =), Goood video!

I'm not sure how you did it, but somehow you improved on last weeks video (Which was already good), I found this much easier to understand and interesting. I have just started RC, by buying my own parts to build a plane from scratch. All of these videos are super useful! Keep up these vids, it seems this whole genre in RC (How to) is still untapped and you guys are nailing it. Really looking forward to next weeks video. I enjoyed watching the Live VTOL Test!

  • does it matter what kind of 6 channel radio you get?

  • Preferably 2.4ghz, but if thats too expensive then normal RC radio frequency still works just fine, but Dave himself said your better off in the long run buying the expensive one first, you'll never have to replace it.

  • I have a DX 6 i use with a trex 450 SE and a fliton jumping jack and a spitfire parkzone it works great for all any rc plane or mini heli. I hope next week you can explain aboput EXponetial i still havent figured that one out.

  • has anybody here worked with Hobbytown usa are they good? Dave i know you read these. is there one near you?

  • what's with the old dx6... get the dx6i to replace it

  • hey cool! looks like you followed my recommendation got an x9303! your gonna love it

  • Hi there,

I'm looking at chargers for me, can i get away with buying the greyson $20.00 charger or is it better buying a $30.00 to $50.00 charger? Is the DX6 Spektrum radio good to start out with? I am new to this hobby. I thick you vids are very helpiful! thank you.

  • get a 50 dollar charger because you can use that with stuff other than r/c because who knows you might not even like the hobby! You don't need that radio system when your first starting out, but down the road you should invest your money into a good radio system like that particular one in the video

  • hey dave, can you fly the wild hawk off the dx6 because it's only a 3 ch. ???

  • yes but you need a different receiver in the plane because the receiver in the plane is not spectrum it is an FM radio.

  • Yes, as long as you have AT LEAST 3 channels you will be fine. You could all the way up to 14 channels if you wanted, but it would be a little expensive for almost all of us.

  • it doesnt work like that, as long as your radio has equal to or greater than the planes required channels than it works!

  • what about a 6ch radio?

  • I'd go with either a Spektrum DX6 if you only are going to fly small stuff in a park. If you're ever thinking about going larger, faster, or farther, then go with the DX 6i.

  • i mean 7ch

  • Realy like the Vids the are helping me get back in to RC after a long time away...

anyhow would it be more cost effective to learn on a RTF plane such as the Wild Hawk and then go to Scratch Build.

  • do a RTF first because its more efficient on money. the scratch build takes more effort

  • Yes I do know what you mean. Great job!

    Building my sukhoi right now

  • you should try to make an X-Wing RC plane its probably been done before though but still it would be cool

  • This was awesome. I am totally getting into your series. I like the build your own plane. Though I would like to check out a all ready built one so I can modify it as I have seen you do. I look so forward to your next video. God bless you and your family. You Rock!!

  • Famous "hey alright" at the begining!

Thanks for this great video dave. 5/5

  • needed this thanks

  • oh and my lipo gos inside the radio nice no candy lol

    good job dave !

  • would u recommend a decent on-budget radio for 4ch and 6 ch?

  • I would get a DX6i, brought me from a 2ch heli, to a 6 channel 3d heli, and 4 ch 3d plane

  • *****That is a JR XP9303 9 ch Radio*****

I Think that is one of the Best JR Radio Ever ...

    I have one and i Love IT ! ! !

    I have a lipo in mine :-) Happy Radio ! ! !
