If this is in Berlin, then why does the interviewer say at the beginning "Welcome to Australia"? Good to see the old Human League though, whatever country they're in! :-)

Molly says "Welcome to Australia" because Countdown was an Australian show.

The interview was recorded in berlin and he is saying "Welcome to Australia" for the viewers!

I wonder if the League knew how groundbreaking they were at the time. Or were they too busy touring and working to enjoy the success at the time. Wonder if they knew how DARE! was to hold such a prominent place not just for the 80's but make so many lists as an astonishing album in music history.

I think it was in west-Berlin because east-Berlin was the early DDR!!
