  • If you glue the PVC onto the soles after you add the straps, it'll cover the elastic and keep it from wearing away.

  • YOU HAVE PRETTY FEET TO BE A GUY SEXY lol:)

  • hey just wondering if you could just use the leather as a sole without the pvc sheeting

  • @greenElias3 yeah i was just worried that the leather would wear out really quickly. using a sheet of vibram cherry or something similar would definitely improve things.

  • I tried to find "PVC sheeting" on the internet and cant find ANYTHING that involves the kind of stuff you using

  • by the by i found this website where a dude makes chaco-like sandals but with very thin vibram soles, you have to send in a trace of your foot i guess but they look pretty awesome. google custom minimal footwear and its one of the top results.

  • @nemodyne It's invisibleshoes.

  • ive tried these and vibram i prefer vibrams

  • cord tying is too messy for me.. tends to rub for longer miles of running

  • Nice....but you may want to put another durable layer over the bottom to cover the straps and finish the sandle....other wise eventually the straps will wear from underneath caused by friction of the pavement or asphalt etc.... and come apart......Enjoyed it!....Thanks for sharing.......

  • thanks a lot! can't wait to try'em

  • flip flopper!
