  • LOOK AT THE TITLE OF THIS GUY"S VIDEO. IT"S CALLED "F-YOU DIRTBAGS"

Don't you all agree that we really need a police officer like that giving " advanced

training " techniques to other police officers. Yeah right, what a damn joke!!!

  • your training only gives them "more attitude". You shoot at my head some

30 times and I'll shoot back! Cop was cocky and lookin for a fight and met

his damn match. Practically telling him how dare you shoot at me after I've

    fired at you 30 times.

Thomas jefferson: "From time to time society must be cleansed with the

    blood of patriots and tyrants"!

  • @MrFlavjosephus Due to your response, I am no longer entertaining this debate. I speak from experience and personally knowing the history of this officer, you could not be more incorrect about his demeaner. Your lack of respect for this fallen officer disgusts me beyond comprehension.

  • @TangoDownProduction And your lack of professionalism and respect

to people is senselessly getting officers killed. .

  • @MrFlavjosephus LOOK AT THE TITLE OF THIS POLICE OFFICER"S video. It's titled "F-YOU DIRTBAGS" . Don't you all agree that we really need a police officer with that mentality giving "advanced training" to other police officers? Yeah right!

  • We are a "nation of law". That means when the police violate procedures

and laws that the accused goes free! The police are not above the law!

No need to tell the driver get out, come back to me, get your hands out of

your pockets. I may have told him "f-u" too. Tell me the damn charge,

give me the ticket and I'll be on my way. Speeding, so what? I've gone

90mph in an 18 wheeler in some states and police have no problem with

it. That officer had an "attitude" too! And your training makes

  • I've never thought a cop's job is easy. I'm not armchair quaterbacking the

officer so much but pointing out that your mentality and training is exacer-

bating the problem, not decreasing officer fatalities!

An officer makes a choice to sign on to his job, I didn't have that luxury,

I was drafted and had to go, or break the law and go to Canada. An officer

should maintain some degree of courtesy also, even to a speeder, not just

feel entitled to respect and want to bark orders.

  • Where we completely disagree is that I don't think it was the officer's command

staff that "destroyed his confidence". Or that the officer was justified in shoot-

ing him when he went back to the vehicle. The officer is so confused that he is

telling the driver over and over to step back when the driver goes to the truck,

the driver IS STAYING BACK. He should be told, GET DOWN. Because the

officer says SIR a few times means nothing. How bout telling the driver the

    violation?

  • @MrFlavjosephus I happen to know the story behind this officer, and yes, his survival mindset was debilitated by his commmand staff due to a former incident. After Kyle was killed in this incident, those members of the command staff were terminated. Telling the driver the violation in this incident is completely irrational due to his erratic behavior. Also, travelling at the speed the driver was, don't you think it was common sense why he was pulled over?

  • @TangoDownProduction (continued), also how many times did the officer tell the suspect to "put the gun down" before shots were exchanged? Several times. I suppose it was "okay" for the suspect to ignore that command? It is completely unfair to armchair quarterback this officers actions. The point of the video is to demonstrate what a dedicated threat looks like and to be mentally prepared to deal with it. We should honor this officers memory by learning from his mistakes.

  • So you gonna shoot every person in America that disobeys a command

from an officer and walks back to their vehicle? We would have a nation

of jailbirds, or alot of dead people if the officer shoots for that.

I'm an ex-marine too, had two tours in 'nam, and was a truck driver ten

years. I had many stops by police, and almost always let go with a

warning coz I am respectful to law enforcement. I've seen many

drivers hotter than this one and it didn't end up in a shootout

  • @MrFlavjosephus Not once did I say that, so I'm not sure where you got that impression. I've seen people more fired up and verbally agressive towards law enforcement too, but the difference is those people didn't go back to their vehicle and load up an M1 carbine and start shooting at the officer. You make a good point in the fact, if most people were simply respectful during their encounter with LE, it would make their life a lot simpler.

  • @TangoDownProduction (continued) It kills me when people assume a law enforcement officer's job is so cut & dry simple. I say if you think you have the perfect solution to fix all the "problems" LE officers encounter, then by all means, get down to your local agency, apply, go to the academy, pin on that shield, strap on that duty belt and show us how it's supposed to be done. I've been there, done that and can speak from experience knowing a cop's job is NOT easy nor is it black & white.

  • or pepper spray is what "set him off" and that's what the driver kept saying

was that he would defend himself, and his rights. Somewhere in those

some 40 commands to a dog do you think the officer could have just

tried once and said, "man take it easy it's just a speeding ticket".

But no, the driver knew the officer was gonna add on about 5 more

charges. A way out for the officer , get in your car, backup, or even

drive off. You can get more officers and arrest this guy at his home.

  • That's where you and I will just have to disagree on this case. I keep a wide

open view of law enforcement, not at all skewed. I look at each case in it's

own right. And that is my point, too many police officers not treating stops

differently, treating each one as a potential gunfight. Drive obeyed first

command and got out of truck, weapon was not loaded. I think 8 out of

ten officers could have in fact deescalated this case and survived.

The officer striking him with baton (continued)

  • Also, it is quite apparent that the veteran spent about 20 seconds loading

his rifle when he went back inside the truck. That should tell you something.

No doubt this was a tragedy, the officer in no way deserved to die, and the

shooter should be put to death. But learn something from the tragedy. The

officer was escalating this situation(which is what the veteran was doing).

He could have deescalated it. His hand was on his holster from the second

he got out of squad car.

  • @MrFlavjosephus An officer having his hand on his firearm when he exits his vehicle is not an uncommon practice. It's better to be prepared for the gunfight than not. Also, the officer in this video was easily justified in deploying deadly force when the assailant refused to follow his commands to put down the rifle. There was no "de-escalating" this threat. He was dedicated to the fight the second the traffic stop was initiated.

  • You guys have gotten to the point that you don't even think you have to tell

a person the reason for pulling them over. And if a person dare asks you why

then you become total smart asses and more determined than ever to find a

reason to take them to jail, over what may have initially only reqired a simple

citation, or even just a warning. There is a "problem' with all of your so called

"better training". The grim statistics attest to that.

  • @MrFlavjosephus I feel you have a very skewed opinion of law enforcement officers. As a former police officer myself, I can't say I worked with an entire police department filled with officers like the ones you are referring to here. Yes, there are bad apples in every bunch, but that applies to everything. It is easy to armchair quarterback what happened here. Officers are given seconds to make decisions in a life or death encounter. Easy to question what they do from the comfort of your chair.

  • @MrFlavjosephus Do not use a huge brush for everyone. Lots of guys out here do the job right. Sounds like you ran into a dick. The vid being talked about on here is old I saw it the first time back in 2003.

  • @Sigp229TRT Thank you Sigp229TRT. Your comment is appreciated.

  • It's terrible what happened to this officer. But he did nothing but issue commands.

Never went to the window, told the driver what he was being pulled over for, or asked

for license and registration. And his training puts him in a situation that does not

leave him a way out, to live to fight another day. The commands were not working,

every time the veteran opened his mouth the officer would cut him off and basically

tell him shut the hell up and do everything I say.

  • @MrFlavjosephus I agree, the officer did make some very critical officer safety mistakes (thus why he lost his life in this case), but the underlying points of the video is to show how his mistake was a result of his command staff destroying his confidence by diciplining him on a prior incident along with how a dedicated threat has to be dealt with by using a determined mindset and adequate force.

  • It's like every officer death has become an instruction video for offficers to get

"better training" to protect themselves. Yet senseless officer deaths are rising.

The latest training teaches officers to throw out common sense, treat every stop

as potential threat, make any stop one in which the officer must be willing to

die for. Officers are becoming more confrontational, commanding, and provocative

over simple stops, like seat belt or speeding infractions.

    will

  • Well said brother.

  • You're entitled to your opinion, but anyone who disagrees with you is

just bullshit i guess and shouldn't be allowed their opinions?

    Yea, real smart.

  • @flavjosephus1 It's not a matter of disagreeing with me, its the disgusting childish comments that aren't tolerated. If someone can argue an opposite opinion intelligently, that is perfectly fine.

  • Makes it that much worse knowing he could of pulled when the guy went back to the truck...i dont know...ill probably never forget this though...almost as bad are the dash cams from the west memphis police shootings..thanks for keeping the gutless comments away also

  • @usarmy1305 Thank you for the comment. That video lives in my mind every day. I will always remember, it is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6. Stay in the fight...NEVER give up.

  • I watched this video last night..worst thing ive ever seen..and i HAVE seen death first hand...wish they really would take it down or at least mute the sound...awful awful video...on the military side (i am also an 11 series in the Army) but we're trained to close the distance with suppressive fire from either A.) buddy team fire B.) Squad Fire....so I really can't blame this poor man for not closing the gap alone going against superior firepower..Did not know about the previous repremand..

  • I am just glad that he was not black...

  • @gloxkk I guess that would be a matter of opinion.

  • @gloxkk I am violent...especially when it comes to my survival. I would hope other people feel the same about self preservation. Although, if a bad guy attacks you with dedicated violence, feel free to stand still and let him kill you. Comepetent law enforcement will arrive and investigate your homicide. :-)

  • in the military and in le we are taught that faced with a situation like this you either create distance, or crash the gap...violently. that is what should have happened here. no disrespect intended. it's tragic this happened. as you said training and experience are key. also it probably helps to know that you chain of command has your back. as you said i'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. btw vet 11b OIF OEF. i'm not shooting cops.

  • @bohica831 Right on brother. Thanks for your service. Stay safe out there!

  • Kyle Dinkheller was a good man and had a family. Try to keep in mind idiots leaving childish and disgustingly disrespectful comments have no concept of Love or Ethics or family. oh and by the wayIi dont even like or respect cops, but this man was an honourable man, one's profession does not "make" the man..

  • @8Recon8 I think you said it very well. The profession does not make the man. I have also found, most people who generally have a negative attitude towards law enforcement means they have probably had a bad experience with law enforcement - or cannot seem to live a law-abiding life, therefore law enforcement is the main obstacle keeping them from remaining free to criminalize society.

  • My opinion is that the officer and the vet are both victims of the US government. I mean look how crazy he was he probably was drafted he probably saw some really fucking fucked up shit came back from the war was treated like shit what do you suspect the damn guy was fucked over by America. And than look at the cop he doesn't fire first because a few days before he got in trouble for drawing his firearm?? It is horseshit this Country is falling apart!

  • @brandon1488 that is an excellent observation, and I would not be surprised if you are absolutely correct about your asumption regarding the veteran. Thank you for the post, I like people who think outside the box!

  • @brandon1488 plus consider that perhaps he came back and had some trouble with the system, why did he say he's just protecting himself? There are police that become police to improve the system, would one join the SS to make it better? I just watched a tornado video with people driving past it, of course this exacerbates violent weather via CO2 emissions- once again, our current system.

  • After watching this I am sick at heart. Im speachless and 20 minutes later it is still fresh in my mind. Im a former US Army MP and now work in private armed security and have never witnessed anything as tragic as this, and hope I never do. I to am a CCW holder becasue I and I alone are responsable for my families safety and will do what I need to to protect them. I can affirm that you must train, as often and as much as you can with your carry weapon or duty weapon.

  • @Colt45acp100 Amen brother. Well said. Take care & stay frosty!

  • Could not be said better. This video is the sort of thing that makes my stomach turn, and I'm in EMS. That was the first thing I noticed was the suspect getting off the first shot, and like you said I don't criticize the officer for a second, but the suspect was only hit once. This is why I don't buy into the magic caliber issue, any lethal force situation will always come down to shot placement. Again, good video.

    Jesse

  • @Bang4TheBuckGear Thank you very much Jesse. Thank you for all your hard work in EMS, it is a thankless job in a lot of cases. Take care & stay safe!

  • The video is sad..but cops are bad

  • @12wildchild321 You are an idiot. Infected with Rodney King syndrome.

  • You mentioned that you are a Concealed Carrier. Do you need some special reason for carrying a weapon? What are the requirements for the permit?

  • @MarshalNey13 In accordance with my state laws, a law-abiding citizen doesn't require a "reason" in order to be approved for a conceal-carry permit. My personal reason is because I refuse to be a victim or an easy target for a criminal. For the state of Colorado, requirements are that you be 21 years old, no felonies on your criminal history, established residency, no chemical or alcohol dependency, stable mental health history, and proof of firearms training. Take care & thank you!

  • @TangoDownProduction

Fair enough, thanks for the info. Btw, you mentioned in one of your comments that you are a shooting instructor. I'm guessing you might meet a lot of police officers in your line of work, how do they feel about concealed carriers? Glad for support or worried about more guns in public? Not that it changes the 2nd amendment right...

  • @MarshalNey13 Once in a while I get an opportunity to speak with police officers. From my experience, some police officers have no issues with CCW holders, but their main concern in how often the CCW holders are training (which is a valid concern). On the other hand, I have spoke with officers who don't believe citizens should be allowed to carry a firearm in public. But I couldn't agree with you more - that doesn't change our 2nd Ammendment Right! AMEN!

  • obviously the deputy was out gunned, but its like the gunman snapped back into vietnam once shots had been fired. I'm wondering if law enforcement has intensified training after they viewed this vid

  • @mississip999 I didn't put his "murder video" on YouTube. I simply made a reference to it. Flag the video all you want, your call. I see it as a good reminder as to why it is important to have a good survival mindset and high level of quality training to prepare for engaging a dedicated threat.

  • @xkwilsonx1 Definitely glad to hear you are prepared, I am a huge fan of that myself. As far as the negative outlook towards law enforcement, I am sorry to hear that. Most people fail to understand, if you are stopped by LE, and are "respectful" most cases you are issued your warning, ticket, whatever and sent on your way. Because I carry a firearm every day, I am always on my best behavior if contacted by LE.

  • "cause I'll fucking stab your ass in the eye socket" - lol

But on a serious note, I am going to be 21 soon and am already saving for a firearm, particularly a glock 19 or 23. But I also really like the CX4 carbine, I am stuck on deciding wether I would want to buy the carbine and keep it in the car, or go for the pistol for concealed carry. Any thoughts?

  • @stabystabson If it were me, personally, I would go with the Glock or other quality handgun for concealed-carry. The Glock 19 or 23 is an excellent choice. You can always purchase the handgun now, then save up for a quality carbine for your long-gun option. Thank you for the post!

  • @TangoDownProduction I figured, the carbine is just so damn cool! What is your profession by the way? I only ask because I am currently in college with hopes of becoming an ATF agent.

  • @stabystabson I agree, the carbine is way cool. I am always like a kid in a candy store every time I break mine out on the range. I am currently a professional firearms instructor. Best of luck on becoming part of the BATFE. You will find a lot of firearms owners really despise the BATFE, however, I tell gun owners all the time, if everything you own complies with local state and federal regulations...why all the fuss? Take care.

  • I posted the below comment because it was a response to an individual who was clearly against all forms of law enforcement. If you come here disrespecting what our Nation's police stand for, then feel free to get your sorry ass in gear and apply for a police job and show us all how it's done. I get it: not all cops are perfect, but nether are we. Most people who hate police, have a problem living life as a law-abiding citizen anyway. ALL negative comments on the video are being removed!

  • Many people speak without truly knowing the law regarding the use of deadly force. Deadly force becomes authorized in the event there is imminent threat of serious bodily injury or death. You do not have to have a gun, knife, bat, etc brought against you first before you take the shot. I served my community as a police officer and I can guarantee you I am very well versed in the use of deadly force.

  • It's called freedom of speech. What the Vietnam Vet fought for! I feel sorry for the dog which lost his owner to prison. The deputy should have just hopped in his car and retreated. Cops should also stop high speed chases instead of endangering citizens. Why? Mainly egos!

  • @3Mudbone1 Yes, retreating to gain a better advantage is a viable option. Concerning high-speed chases, many departments now have a "no-chase" policy. However...if the crime is serious enough, they are still allowed to pursue which I have no problem with. Having been there myself, I can say it's not always the police officer's "ego" that dictates whether the chase continues.

  • As an aside, I'm 24 and although I'm still pretty young in a since, I've been in the working world with guys like the officer in the video who are just trying to do their job and go home. I think allot of the people who post negative or trolling comments on videos like that are usually sheltered, and their world view is probably shaped by the internet or peers/friends. I'll play devil's advocate and say there are good cops and bad cops, but like people, all aren't bad.

  • @EcologicalFighter Absolutely. I worked as a police officer and some of the officers I worked with didn't deserve to wear the badge, but the few bad didn't out-weigh the good. Just like when I served in the military, some were good and a few were worthless. You can't avoid the 10% rule no matter the industry.

  • Just thought I'd give my opinion on this story as I recently saw the video. I'm anti-gun myself and usually shake my head at tales of police brutality or excessive force etc., but I feel the officer had the right to take that man down. Looking at this from a civilian perspective, the vet was disturbed, there was no way he was going to be talked down. It's a shame the officer was intimidated into shying away from firing.

  • Comment removed

  • @EcologicalFighter He didn't fire on him because that is illegal. Kyle would have landed in jail for killing an unarmed suspect. Kyle followed the rules and got killed for doing so. Yes, if Kyle killed the suspect while he was unarmed, he would still be alive today.

  • @Necroshe

Yes the officer shot first, How was he wrong in shooting first? He called for backup. Watch the video in the @ the 1:55 mark, he pointed the rifle @ the officer! What if you were the officer? & you had a man with a rifle pointed at you willing to kill you with no regard for your life? So say until the man fires the gun @ you intending to kill you, you wouldn't shoot him? Its my life or his! He should of shot him after he told him to put the gun down once. RIP & God bless his family

  • Agree with every single word you said! I'd like to do some more reading of this and was wondering where you got the info about the officer having been disciplined?

  • @gt5004life I went to a tactical mindset seminar last year and the speaker gave us the back-story regarding the officer and the issues with his command staff. It is rather unfortunate, but in today's law enforcement world, management are more concerned about their political image versus the lives of their officers.

  • @Necroshe Watch the video, he did call in for backup when the vet was dancing. You have the right to your opinion and I agree, many cops talk down to you even how respectful you treat them but in this case I belive the police made a correct decision when the fired the first shot.

  • @Necroshe The only thing the officer did wrong was letting him go back to his truck and grab a gun. The second a person pulls a weapon on a LEO, the LEO has every right to use lethal force.

  • I watch the video and I couldn't sleep. I was angered to see how this veteran had no mercy even after the officer pleaded for him to stop shooting him. I would have emptied my clip on veteran.

  • @rj71461h Yeah, it's a rough video to watch. The Veteran was definitely not mentally stable, but you are absolutely correct in the fact you would have to empty your entire magazine into someone that determined to take your life.

  • i agree... great video man

  • @cshabs Thank you.

  • the death penalty wasn't enough for that guy.

  • @schordan Unfortunately they didn't have anything harsher...

  • @TangoDownProduction

Well I guess the kinds of things I had in mind for him shouldn't be used in first world countries...

Really though, that was a terrible way to go for that officer. You could still hear him breathing after the guy drove off (sounded like he was shot in his face/breathing area). I imagine the gunman's execution was a lot quicker and humane than that.

  • Nice video, and there is only one handgun I carry. M1911A1 .45Auto

I wish the best for his family today, and yours. I have a younger cousin, I shipout in April, hopefully I have taught him well about self defense. I gave him my Kabar for a birthday present. I only have three guns. I dont need but two, M16A4, and my M1911A1. My shotgun is for my brother at the house, strictly a house, or truck gun. PERIOD!

Also, invest in a Molli pack, or plate carrier if you can afford one.

  • @Marine052191 Thank you! Best wishes and may God be with you in your deployment. You are correct in that you only need 2 guns, and the two you picked are quite a pair to be reckoned with. I do have a molle belt system (got a video on it) and I love it. I also have a tac-vest, but only break it out once in a great while since I got my molle belt rig. Take care & Semper Fi!

  • But you said it right, sometimes bullets aren't enough (Example: Mark Hunter Coates) I've been compiling a few videos to show a former Sunday school student of mine. (He just got into the Army's Special Forces). I wanted to stress the fact that, just because you shoot somebody 5 times, doesn't necessarily mean they're no longer a threat. Holler at me and we'll compare notes.

  • @JasonEldur Absolutely. I have an autopsy report in my file from a guy who was in a fire fight with Pennsylvania Police officers. He was shot numerous times with a .40 caliber 18- grain Gold Dot and still remained in the fight. Because of that report, I no longer use any 180-grain .40 caliber bullets for self defense. I've since gone to the 155 grain Corbon for that reason.

  • I'm a baptist preacher so I can't say what you did starting at 0:34 ... I can't say it, but I'd sure sign my name to it. Even though I'm a former felon, I got saved in 2001 and most of my family is in LE. Watching the Dinkheller video made me physically ill.

  • @Necroshe you are a dumb motherfucker the CRAZED man was menacing. The police officer should have put a round in him the second he started to charge. that was him mistake and he paid with his life. If you don't like cops then get the fuck out of this country. go to mexico and see how good you have it there.

  • It's the american dream, isn't it? :(

  • @krabat797 Well...America is a great country and I love my country. If I didn't, I wouldn't of spent 12 years in the military. But there is no perfect "utopia"...not even in America unfortunately. The real American dream is doing what you love and getting paid to do it. Maybe one day I will see some of the payback for doing what I love.

  • @Necroshe I cannot begin to express how incorrect you are. I don't mean to sound rude, but many people speak without truly knowing the law regarding the use of deadly force. Deadly force becomes authorized in the event there is imminent threat of serious bodily injury or death. You do not have to have a gun, knife, bat, etc brought against you first before you take the shot. I served my community as a police officer and I can guarantee you I am very well versed in the use of deadly force.

  • Thank you for the video. I've seen a lot of crazy stuff online, but the video of the police officer being MURDERED really sickens me. My prayers go out to his family. You're right man... Get training when you can and practice practice practice. Run drills... Do scenarios... Anything to help you prepare for the worst. Let's hope we never have to employ that training. Shoot straight and God bless.

  • @croscoe85 Thank you very much for your reply & support, it is greatly appreciated. I couldn't agree more with the statement, "Anything to help you prepare for the worst." Amen brother...

  • @croscoe85 could you tell me what happend to that scum low life after killing that young officer i cant find it on you tube it made me so sad and frustrated to watch i wish you could just jump right in the video and help him rest in peace kyle thanks

  • @wilmakutz From what I've gathered (which may be wrong) the perp was struck by a round from the officer's sidearm in the stomach and was caught when attempting to get treatment for the wound. He was sentenced to death after a rightfully short deliberation.

  • @croscoe85 You are correct on the information you gathered. I'm not sure if the suspect's execution has been carried out yet, but I know he did receive the death penalty.

  • As a person who loves the heroism of Police I watched the video. That was unbelieveably terrible. There was one thing I did notice about this criminal though. If you watch the end of the shooting he runs back to his truck. When he gets in a shadow moves from the driver seat to the passenger seat. A PASSENGER possibly? Do you have any details on that? -Ty

  • @thrust19 It was a dog.

  • @Farlioz Oh. I'm not sure if you're right or not but that would make sense. Thanks for the help.

  • @greengourleyowens Believe it my friend, and train to be prepared to deal with that level of threat. I wish to God I could've been driving by that day and lent that officer a helping hand.

  • Of all the videos I have seen that was one of the most upsetting video I have seen where an officer was killed. It angers me so much and he was just a baby him self. Only 22 years old already with a family and never lived past. For this reason I would never ever carry anything below a 44mg. Even a 50 ae regardless if its big and heavy Im a big guy and theres no such thing as over kill when it means killing monsters. Thats just my oppinion. RIP Dinkheller

  • @Kevileya AMEN brother!!! Very well said! Like I say, anything worth shooting once, is worth shooting 2, 3, 4, more times.

  • Just a question to TangoDown... are you a law enforcement individual yourself??

  • Does anyone know how long it took for the backup to arrive?? Also... did the criminal go to prison or did he take one for the whole human race by eliminating his sorry ass from Earth??

  • @Topher56ify He was captured the followind day, treated for a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was tried & convicted - received the death penalty. I believe he is still awaiting execution, but not 100% sure. Would've been better had he let Dinkhellers' fellow officers fill him full of lead though.

  • Thanks you for posting this video... I read some of those comments on the video showing the dash cam video and I felt like punching my computer screen. Unfortunately, the deputy just wasn't aggressive enough which obviously was due to public pressure from both citizens and his higher ups to not use excessive force. Granted, the suspect had a fullblown rifle and all the deputy had was his little pea pod shooter so I'd have to agree when you say he was screwed from the get go.

  • Great video man I laughed when you said you would tear someones eye out. Seriously though if it came down to it and I had no other options I would do anything to survive too. I think I am going to become a soldier after college but its men and women like you who protect America and make it a safer place. I love the police once you get to know them under there macho persona theyre funny as hell not to mention immature lol just kidding. I have worked with and interned with enough police to knowths

  • @Semperfi918 Thank you very much. Definitely stay in school until you get your degree, that will open up a ton of doors for you in both the civilian and military arena. Take care & Stay safe out there!

  • You are wrong...Dink shots first.....Worked at LCSO as a Deputy for 10 years....Went to the trial in Brunswick Ga ....Heard all the evidence. Brandon was shot in the stomach. Found the next morning hiding near his home in Dudley GA.

  • @DUBLINAMBASSADORS Thank you for pointing that out. I believe I stated in the video I wasn't sure who fired first. Regardless, it a very unfortunate situation.

  • TangoDownProdcution, I couldn't agree with you more. I recently watched this video at the police academy for training. We analyzed the video step by step. Our instructors basically told us the same thing, shoot and keep shooting or even jump back in the car and ram the truck to offset the balance of the suspect. I'm glad you are getting that message out there, when it comes down to us or them, it has to be us no matter what.

  • I've heard people wish officers dead before and fought right back at those pieces of shit, but that video really hit me hard. You hear that poor officers last breath...After seeing some of the comments, I felt hatred like I've never felt in my entire life.

Calling those people human is an insult to everyone else...

  • amen dude fuck that fuckin bitch and im with ya i will fucking pull out somebodys eye from their sockets before they kill me

  • the cop pulled kim over (kidnapping him) for a victimless crime. he got what he got

  • you sir win the day. great video. couldnt agree with you more. i get my CPL in 4 days, and from there on out its my XDm .45 on my hip and in my truck.

  • @lolrskateslol Thank you very much. Outstanding on making Corporal. I remember how I felt when that day came. Nice addition with the XD45, stay safe out there!!!

  • @TangoDownProduction

sort of a misunderstanding, CPL stands for Concealed Pistol License here in Washington State! I will be joining the military though as soon as my wrist heals and i get in a little better shape. Tendinitis has ruined my left wrist for this past year. lol

  • @MrMeatBullet Amen brother. What also scares me....is their are still criminals out there who will attack with the same intensity as this guy did. Hence, why I train and encourage every other law abiding, gun toting citizen to do the same.

  • @TangoDownProduction Couldn't have said it better myslef, friend. I am already taking tactical pistol and a "stress shooting" course(s) to hone my skills as a citizen sheepdog. I would rather be judged by twelve than carried by six to my grave if it means protecting my life and the life of innocent people who don't have a fighting chance against deranged people like that man in the video.

Keep the good stuff coming brother. Thanks.

  • Well said, it sounds like we have the same attitudes about survival. Play that "What if" game in your head constantly and be ready. What pisses me off so bad is the video-gamer Call of Duty heros who watch the video and then spout their theories about how they would have done it better, when in reality they've never been in a deadly force confrontation and would probably piss their pants.

  • i also belive all police departments should be required to have a MINIMAL caliber size of .45ACP so that you don't need to shoot multiple times to drop a suspect.

  • @futurejarhead0311 I am a fan of the .45, as I own one myself. However... in regard to that, people have to remember that shot placement is also key in stopping a threat from continuing, not necessarily is it always a matter of caliber size. Thank you for the post.

  • @futurejarhead0311 I own a .45, that's my personal defense gun, but you have to remember, there is no such thing as a "magic bullet". Even when shot through the heart a person can fight on for as long as a minute, especially when they are high on something like meth. Basically a headshot or a shot that severs the spinal cord are the only guaranteed one shot stop. Most of us train to shoot center mass, which is why it's so important to shoot-scan-shoot again if needed.

  • @FargoMarc Very well said my friend. I preach exactly that on the range with all my students... you shoot until the threat is stopped - period.

  • @FargoMarc

true but i have noticed that when a potential attacker is shot "center mass" i usually see the round go into the shoulder or upper abdomen. 1-2 rounds into the vital triangle (between the nipples and belly button) it is usually a kill shot within 2 min

  • when i watched that video i could hear twice that officer plead for his life and scream in pain. it is just NOT RIGHT i hope that that son of a b*&#$ got killed by a firing squad using the same type weapon he used to kill the officer but he got shot from the toes up over 100 times.

this is why i support REQUIRING 2 officers to be in every single police car so that if something like this happens there will be a better chance of officer survival

  • Applause..... I appreciated your post! ......unfortunatley, It just goes to show how many assholes that are out there who have no respect for life.... Keep up the good work.

  • @Weygandt Thank you very much Weygandt, I will keep on doing it as long as I have a breath in my lungs.

  • God created Brannan and Dinkheller... God knows everything in advance... God knew of that event before it happened.

God has a plan. God works everything together for good.

    Wrath belongs to God

God bless all those in the police force and military.

In the Bible; Romans 13 tells us to respect and pray for those in our governement

  • As he was driving away, I wonder if the vietnam vet realized that his life was over... done with

  • @royalty315 I wonder that too. I doubt it, due to the heat of the battle he was probably relishing in his victory until the next day when he was arrested.

  • I've watched the video and I have to admit, it chilled me to the bone. The screams of the officer reminded me of Afghanistan so much it was scary. I carry a concealed weapon on my person at all times to deal with nut jobs like this and spend at least two days out of the week to practice at the range. Though, I will admit, I will never watch that video again, it sickened me.

  • @sasbub Amen brother, it is a tough video to watch. I'm glad you are committed to training with your concealed carry firearm. I try to instill upon my friends and trainees to train as much as possible. Keep up the great work!

  • He's a hero because he died?

  • Comment removed

  • and that point I am trying to stress. I use this video in my officer safety course to show that this kid was unfit for police work. This guy would of never made it out of my field training program.

  • He had all the tools he needed but failed to use them. 1) he parked his car wrong 2) he allowed the suspect to re-enter his car 3) he called for help .when he should of advanced thru the kill zone and negotiated the threat. I hate to say it but this was nothing more than poor police work. A long gun would have not help this kid he simply did not know what he was doing

  • Passing no judgment on the cop himself and from a tacticians point of view this officer was unfit for duty. Pay attention shorts (police, security, armed citizens) you must defend yourself, this officer was locked in apathy, and for that he lost the fight and there by his life..

  • @SOI23633 He became unfit for duty due to his command staff destroying his survival mindset, as I mentioned in the video, not due to apathy. He was actually an expert shot on the range and prior to his command staff reprimanding him for drawing his weapon (justifiably) on a previous incident, he had an excellent survival mindset in place.

  • @TangoDownProduction Sir you point out this officer being disciplined as an excuse for his poor action. I can tell you, after 18 years in the business, your first consideration is to life, you cannot patrol Main Street from a casket on Cemetery Hill. This poor kid should not have been on patrol without a training officer. Those of us that study, practice, and train the art of officer safety, recognize this indent for what it was, a profound lack of training.

  • @SOI23633 I agree with you to a point... training definitely plays a very important part of survival but having the will to survive must come first. Once the will to survive is in place, then training is the mitigating factor. I agree, he should've had an additional officer with him, certainly a long gun. You are definitely on the right track, train, train...then train some more. The tool does you no good without knowing how to use it to it's fullest extent. Thank you for your insight!!

  • If you dont want people to watch it. Why did you tell them too watch it?

  • @lem1968a1 There wasn't one time in the video where I said, "Don't watch it." I said I wish the video wasn't on YouTube because of all the inbred pieces of shit who come here and post stupid comments on videos. In fact, I encouraged people to watch it.

  • Scott, I want you to be safe out there. Your words and tone toward the end cause me worry. Deputy Dinkheller was out gunned and up against someone who was obviously a nut job, a fearless nut who charged him twice. We should Monday morning quarterback what happened. That kind of review can save your life. What won't save your life is this attitude "I'm going to come home to my family,"

  • @adulamunda Perhaps I was misunderstood. I disagree with you because I firmly believe I WILL do whatever it takes in order to survive so I can come home to my family. I don't think it is fair to "Monday morning quarterback" what Deputy Dinkheller did. His survival mindset was destroyed by his upper management on a previous incident. That is the point of the video - to remind people NO ONE has the right to diminish your survival mindset. Family is a good foundation for a survival mindset.

  • they show this video in the Air Force to show us when the use of force is required good video and I didnt know about that incident where he drew his gun earlier that puts things in better perspective

  • Scott,

Excellent vid, brother ! Straight to "Fav's", and subscribed.

TRAINING cannot be over-emphasised enough. To have a gun is NOT enough. My heart goes out to Officer Dinkheller and his family. Even though this happend a number of years ago, some things "stay with you" . And I'll never forget it. Again, thanks, bro

  • @BrokenTengu99 Thank you very much. I couldn't agree with you more. Train, train, and then....train some more. For criminals, it's a 24-hour a day job. For us, we have to try and keep up any way we can. You are very welcome, take care and STAY SAFE!!!

  • that video gave me chills. You wouldn't think a veteran would do something like that. Trying to get into law enforcement I think everyone who wants to be a cop should see this video and really consider if they are still up for it.

  • @GemDrake Amen, brother. Every time I watch that video, it reminds me why I NEED to train! Every lawful citizen who carries for personal defense also needs to see this video and ask themselves, "What would I do if I were driving down the road and observed a police officer engaged like Deputy Dinkheller was?" Best of luck becoming a police officer, I hope your dreams and aspirations come true!
