  • Thumbs up if you stood on a table with a towel around your neck as cape and said this quote while watching Batman as a little kid!

  • @sakurablossom6601 Little kid? Yeah ahh sure i dont do that as an adult....

  • @BATMANISGOD1 ....Now I'm tempted to it as an adult. xD

  • before i die my last wish would be to hear this

  • *rapes the replay button......multiple times over*

  • makes me glad kevin is still doing batman for the direct to videos and the video games. Cant ask for anything better.

  • Shivers down my spine...Kevin Conroy=Batman Perfection

  • If there was ever a cartoon that was the shit of the 90's, that WASN'T the Simpsons, South Park or Family Guy, that was suitable for ALL ages, it would definitely be... BATMAN!

  • I used to crap my pants everytime i'd see this, that why my mother took me off CTNW

  • I remember this on TV. This is the real thing that they should at show this on Cartoon Network again. Good old days Super heroes. :) I finally remember this one!!

  • Wooooooow haven't seen this in a while lol

  • This was me after playing Arkham City

  • 1 person didnt know he was vengeance and the night or he was batman

  • @MarvelousworldTV

    HUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUH

  • @oddooddod lol

  • batman!

  • Then he eats the hotdog...right?

  • THIS! This was what ruined that line in"Nothing to Fear" for me! :P I always thought it was this pan up and then the line, but instead it's Batman hanging off a blimp in an episode with a less than stellar overseas animation company attached to it! XD

  • AND THIS, is why my Batman fixation started....

  • love this so much.

  • Geez this a trowback.

  • cartoon network is shit now! thumbs up if the only thing you watch on it now is robot chicken or family guy

  • for those who want to know the line comes from the esp called "Nothing to fear" Scarecrow's first appearance on the show.

  • I remember seeing this a million times, although I actually didn't watch BTAS until I bought the DVDs about 6 years ago

  • I'm 26 and I grew up watching Batman TAS. It is my all time favorite show. Bruce Timm was a genius in animation as the show was well ahead of its time. The show gave you that feeling like you were there in Gotham City fighting crime with Batman. I'm sad that kids today don't have an epic show like Batman TAS to grow up with now.

  • @Billy145891 Yeah.

Avatar: The Last Airbender came close, though.

  • Oh, my God! I remember this!!

  • Fffffffffffffffffffffffff I will never forget this quote no matter how old I get.

  • Hell yes! I remember this bumper, it was awesome, the only commercial I actually like.

  • :I am vengeance, I am the Night, I AM... BATMAN!" (in thought) "At least until further notice."

  • 1 person must be the Joker, the Penguin or the Riddler.

  • My favorite bumper they ever had

  • Wow the old Cartoon network.

  • I-I think...I think Batman's epic voice just raped me O_O

  • Whenever I see kids doing catchphrases from shows, or hear people older than me bust out a hokey one from their childhoods, I always smirk when I realize the one for me and the kids I grew up with was something as completely badass as I AM VENGEANCE. I AM THE NIGHT. I AM BATMAN.

  • Now THIS, is how you get attention. No jokes, no spoilers, little dialogue. Just Batman being awesome with lightning in the backround.

  • 0 people hate old cartoon network, you are all great people!

  • I came...

  • Oh my god, I remember this. That series is what made me obsessed with batman!

  • I giggled when I remembered this.

  • This brings back so many memories. Thank you, kind sir.

  • I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR A VERY LONG TIME!!! Thank you!

  • THANK GOD! Been looking for this bumper for so long

  • this is a legend.

  • One Badass Bumper. Unlike the New crap.

  • Ahh, no dislikes on this video :D

  • wow, i miss the old cartoon network

  • I remember this like yesterday. Toonami was right before this with Thundercats, Robotech, Voltron and Jonny Quest and then there was an hour of Batman and Swat Kats. The good old days of Cartoon Network in the 90s.

  • Yes, I remember this. I remember whenever I had the TV on Cartoon Network this bumper would pop on a lot.

  • "I am vengeance. I am the night. I am...BATMAN!"

    You lie!

  • Batman TAS, greatest animated series ever made..

  • YES! This is exactly what I was looking for!

    Thank you jedcred!!

  • Talk about making me feel old if i remember right this promo was started around 1997 i remember seeing batman the animates series for the first time in 97 Kids today dont know how good cartoons were in the 90's and the greatest channel was cartoon network back then because you could turn it on any part of the day back then and something good was on thank you so much for uploading i miss this like hell and if they aired it again i would watch it

  • Man, I always remembered this line in the opening and was so shocked when it wasn't there at least once on my DVDs. Now I know why.

  • @bkev93 I think he says the line in the very first episode, and that's it.

  • @ShadowEl Yes. That's the thing: this is the final shot from the opening with the CN logo superimposed in the back. I used to see this promo all the time so I ended up associating the opening with it as a child by mistake.

  • @ShadowEl

He says it in the episode "Nothing to Fear," trying to mentally fight Scarecrow's fear toxin. He actually shouts in the face of a giant hallucination of his dead father's zombified corpse while hanging from from a blimp.

    God, I miss that show.

  • Kids nowadays just don't know what a great era they missed out on. The '90s had some of the greatest cartoons ever. All the cartoons now are CRAP! Now everyone say it with me one more time: "I am vengeance. I am the night. I am Batman!"

  • @Azriel1932 I will give you that some of those cartoons were great, but take off the nostalgia goggles and open up your mind, man. Most cartoons and in fact most television still sucked back then just like today, and a few really choice shows still pop up.

  • @ChupiTheTerrible I never said that all of the cartoons back then were good. I have a very open mind, I have younger siblings and cousins, I have watched most of the cartoons and kid shows that are out today. Most of them are just straight up retarded. It's not about nostalgia, I'm not sitting up at night wishing for the "gold old days". I'm just stating the obvious. Even the networks the put these shows on have admitted that the quality has gone down.

  • All these god damn years and I still remember this bumper. :D

  • i am vengance, i am the night, i am the goddamn batman

  • Thank you so much for this, I always try to explain this commercial to my friends! I loved this so much!!!

  • i was starving for its music that reminds me many things of me whan i was kid! thanks a lot man!

  • Hell yes.

We were and still are the coolest generation to ever live.

  • Ah, the memories are flowing back... :)

  • This scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. It still gives me chills...

Classic. They sure as shit don't make them like they used to.

  • I remember this bumper like yesterday.

  • This is the one I remember most from the PowerHouse era of CN. I have no idea why Time Warner would ever discontinue this version of CN.

  • Because it was getting old?

  • @megamanfan3 Different people shifting in power. Not to mention that they have to change with the times. I don't understand why no one gets that. Have you seen anything on TV stay the same for years and years?

  • @UltraComboer I realize that. I was just being nostalgic.

  • THIS!

Is one of those perfect moments that captures what made Batman: TAS so awesome, even if it was just a bumper.

Ranks up there with the "World Made of Cardboard" speech.

  • @HeraldofGalactus a thumbs up wouldnt suffice enuff 2 sho how much i agree with u

  • I'm The Terror That Flaps In The Night... wait, wrong cartoon.

  • @tinynicktune Oddly enough, I made that same mistake.

  • @FlyingFocs

Heh, no kidding... again, considering Darkwing Duck's was a parody of the superhero gender, it's understandable.

  • @tinynicktune There's a superhero GENDER? Just kidding.

  • O man I've been wondering where this went. I remember seeing this as a kid and I just got the DVDs which don't have that voice-over. But now I can clearly see that its a cartoon network thing so whatever my childhood memories are just flawed.
