You are so unique Chris- you are at once thoroughly masculine, yet that sweet, gentle soul shines through, and your personality is so lovable. The contouring of your lips makes them look luscious, and the ginger-cream around your eyes makes your lovely brown eyes really shine---in contrast to your other vids wherein your eyes look darker you can almost see yourself reflected in the pool of soft color. You really are inspiring, your skill with the brushes leaves me "gaga!"
just one question, were you wearing make up already in the beginning of the video?! The tips are really great but i tried going back and forward to see how visible the results looked on you and I couldn't see much difference.. Might be the lighting again... Or maybe you already had your make up on and you just applied more (?)
@TheNiceboycoolboy I had it on in the beggining! and not in the begging but I already had done foundation primer and seting so my skin was already balanced and such!
Way to go Chris baby! Look... for us queens this is easy peazy but you are sure to educate and help so many people of both sexes with all your tips and guides who use, need and apply make terribly (like most of the how-to-apply-make-up-wannabes on here.. you follow?!) the 11th cardinal sin: Always avoid a tragic make up application including the applier! So teach em all I say! keep up the good work... mwaaaaah!
OMG,YOUR ARE GORGEOUS!I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!I'm so glad you made this video,I love the part about the fishy face"you don't walk around like that"LoL!I truly can see myself using this technique!Do you think cream contour/highlight products are too heavy/cakey?I'm from South Texas(GulfCoast)and the humidity/heat can be brutal for my face & hair! Are there certain products you recommend that can hold up,especially the hair!I'm 29,combo skin(NC30)and I have sort of thick hair.BTW,can't wait to see more!
i've always applied blush like you. i've never understood why people smile or make a fish face to do their blush. like... "find your cheekbones/apples"... you need to smile to see your face? it's never made sense to me. and i've always received compliments on how my blush looks, even when i was in high school. you really don't walk around smiling all day so there is no reason to do your blush like that unless you're a pageant queen and have to smile for three hours.
@rayrew Never!!! I think they need it since that moment is all about the photo as well as the time she is getting married!!! I dont think extreme Contour and Highlighting is necessary! but still appropriate on a tamed scale!
I absolutely enjoyed your video, but I wondered if you could give me some suggestions on the colors to use on my skin tone which is sort of cappuccino, this will be the first time I try contouring, I was never really into the makeup theme but I almost 32yrs old and I would love a change in appearance. Thanks a million.
@TheSteph0923 To Contour a skin tone that is cappuccino I would contour with a product that is a very true brown! But I can not see your skin so yeah! Also I would go into a MAC cosmetic store and have an artist assist you and try on some different products! It can be overwhelming but very helpful : ) Thanks for the support!
Great video! Wish I would've found it when I 1st started contouring. You simplified it, which is awesome. I still gained knowledge from the vid though, like trying diff colors, especially now in the winter when my already pale skin is even more pale, lol!
Btw, yes, that palette is to die for, you lucky boy! ;~)
I like MAC HArmony blush to contour my face, because its more ashy tone :) and I really, really love youre new pallette. If you want to, do some looks with it.
