Love is love. Period. It is not up to you or anyone else to decide what defines "normal" or "love," itself. Gay, straight, black, white, asian- we are all human beings with the capability to love and be loved. Denying anyone the pure human right to express that love in the form of a marriage commitment is simply wrong.

The desire to engage in homosexual acts is not in and of itself sinful (though the inclination is a product of the fallen world) as is the propensity to abuse substances; the inherent sin lies in acting upon those desires. It is the same thing with pre-marital sex; there is a natural drive to engage in the activity, but the sin lies in acting on that inclination.

Said drive is present in all humans regardless of sexual orientation; this does not contradict, or negate the fact that homosexuality is developmental. It's wrong to love another person... solely because it's of the genders they happen to be? I see nothing wrong with being gay. Two adults who love each other, and are willing to commit to each other, and desire the benefits that hetero relationships receive.

Personally, I view "right" and "wrong" like THIS: Does it cause harm to another person? Is it forced, or non-consensual? If yes, then it's wrong. If not, then it's all right.

With a marriage license comes the right to be presumed the father of your wife's child (as opposed to people who have babies out of wedlock, who must establish paternity via a legal action).

If we grant that right to gays, we would be granting them the "right" to be presumed the parent of a child they're not the parent of.

Fraud is not a right.
