Before you do so, do this: Start/Computer/System protection/Create a restore point!!!

Open the link in the description, skip the ad if it is showen, click download and save it to your desktop, check for viruses, open it restart the computer and there you go!!!

This works but unfortunently Windows will not validate while this patch is installed. And I kept getting this annoying pop up from Windows Genuine Advantage telling me.My Windows might not be genuine. And it restarted my computer and disabled the patch. This happened every time I reinstalled the patch.So I had no choice but to uninstall this and then Windows validated again without any problems. Andrea Borman.

This Aero patch effects the validation of Windows. So it is best to just stick with Personalization Panel wallpaper changer. Which changes the wallpaper on Windows 7 Starter but does not have the Aero patch.Or effect Windows. So now I have gone back to just using Personalization Panel. @faizalgates97 that's odd this should work try deleting the file now and make sure it's deleted and re-download it and try it again and if you still have the error message me P.S try rebooting your PC and then try activating aero but if not just reinstall it should work best regards
