  • i can remember havin this game it came with another game

  • @retrocomputerkidkris You might have gotten it with along with Castle Master 2 or with the "3D" compilation Virtual Worlds (Castle Master, Castle Master 2, Driller and Total Eclipse).

  • @CholoCPC thats right m8y it was

  • nice play cholo. this game was in my memory^^ it was a original experience in 1990 :) nice review

  • I remember this! In fact, I tried to copy it but it didn't work...atill this and Total Eclipse were class! Hell, even Total Eclipse II ruled!

  • I had never seen that game! By the way, is it easy to contruct a game by using 3DConKit?

  • @Misel982001 Well, i have never tried it myself, but using a "kit" must be much easier than having to program manually. Still, do remember that even tho its faster with a "kit" it is still a quite time consuming task (i recall from making some Doom Wad's with the DEU editor and it took ages to make anything).

  • The 3D effects are fantastic! To think I wasted all my time on jeffing Galactic Plague.

  • @Hindleyak Hehe! Yes, this game really show how fast amstrad games got better (well programmed) in just a really short time.

  • Never heard about these Freescape games, but despite the framerate it's great to see a game like this one running on a CPC.

Thanks for showing it ! :·)

  • @Metr81 Indeed, even tho the framerate is a bit low its still an amazing game that really push the machine to the max.

  • Awesome, very well done dude - I never had the patience for these Freescape games so loved watching how you did this. I think I might do Hard Drivin' as my next vid maybe, but I'd love to see you do Total Eclipse as that was my favourite of the Freescape games!

  • @Xyphoe Thanks! ill have look into Total Eclipse i think i recall it had quite nice moody setting too.

  • I used to have 3D Construction Kit on my CPC. It came with a video cassette tutorial. It really made me want an Amiga.

  • @RockTo11 Yes me too. Amiga really was a big leap from the ol' 8bits. No doubt the amiga version of Castle Master has a much higher framerate too ;D
