Egypt, Palestine and Syria have as a rich a heritage as Iran. These countries have very ancient civilizations too and the oldest cities in the world are in these countries. The reason these countries adopted the Arabic language is because they were under Roman/Byzantine occupation. Persia was not under occupation at that time but was in constant wars (as usual) with the Byzantines and that is the only reason you retained your language.
Islam was never forced on anybody. There are still very ancient Christian communities in Egypt, Palestine and Syria. They even still use the Coptic and Syriac languages in their religious rites. In Iran too there are several ancient Zoroastrian, Jewish and Christian communities. Compare this with medieval Europe which at the time was forcing Christianity on anybody living within their borders.

Egypt, Palestine and Syria have as a rich a heritage as Iran. These countries have very ancient civilizations too and the oldest cities in the world are in these countries. The reason these countries adopted the Arabic language is because they were under Roman/Byzantine occupation. Islam was never forced on anybody. There are still very ancient Christian communities in Egypt, Palestine and Syria. They even still use the Coptic and Syriac languages in their religious rites. In Iran too there are several ancient Zoroastrian, Jewish and Christian communities.
