This 911 operator should at the very least lose his job. Of course the idiot should not have had a chimp, but that call was relatively easy to understand and he was an ass, assistance was delayed because of his stupidity. Trying to piss someone off and acting stupid is not acceptable, you can simply ask the person to set the phone aside. This piece of shit should be shot.
@baadshepherd Assistance was not delayed if you listen closely you can hear him telling someone to be enroute. A lot of people do not understand how many different things a dispatcher can do at once. When I am taking a call I stay online with the caller as long as I possibly can but usually have someone enroute as soon as I get all the pertinent information. If you were to listen to this clip without the big caption telling you what it was about you probably wouldnt understand at first either..

At the very least if you heard someone in this bad of a state talking about someone being killed you should be offering a more sympathetic tone, something like "I'm terribly sorry, officers are on the way. I will do what I can to help but there is little more that I can do but get as much information from you to provide to the officers as possible."

They ask questions to get more information to report to the responder of the emergency so they can know what to expect. They also do it to calm her down and take control of the situation. I saw the woman who was attacked on TV. She no longer has eyes, so she doesn't even know what she looks like. Her face is a horrible mess of swollen tissue. Even with modern surgery, she will never be anywhere near normal.

Dude you guys r all idiots. A 911 operator sends help immediatly. While he's asking those questions they r already on there way. They ask questions to get more information to report to the responder of the emergency so they can know what to expect. They also do it to calm her down and take control of the situation. I'm sure she could of done something more than just stand there and weep. For example look at that little kid that choked out a pitbull cuz it was attacking a little girl. Go learn

That woman jeopardized her own safety. We do it each time we walk out the door. Loose dogs, so-called "friendly pets" or training animals. Was this chimp stabbed, drugged or treated differantly as an animal? If so, there is the problam. I find it hilarious that people are willing to take that risk. One time, my mother-in-law took in a mistreated dog and began to trust it. It bit her in the face and almost took out her eye. I laugh at the hypocracy. I would have gutted that animal with a Bolo.
