I mean I always laugh at the contestant but when the judges start to demean them and humiliate them further.. That's just low.. I have a problem with how people with handicaps are presented on "reality" television. The producers are really dropping the ball in the screening process by not realizing that physical handicaps can ome with emotional and/or mental handicaps and that poking fun at the latter is just as hurtful as poking fun at the former.

I'm not saying that people with handicaps shouldn't be allowed on these programs, rather the program should ensure that they can cope with it.
