I don't think I'll ever find a song with as much significance to me as this one....Without a doubt my favorite piece of music ever. Just....beautiful.
This song comforts me when I'm walking back home at 10:00 pm through the moist, dark streets. I forget about the dangers around and me, and it doesn't bother me that i can't see whats 10 feet ahead of me. I just relax.
Just beautiful. Was looking to add a new artist to my collection along the lines of Nujabes (RIP), Nomak, Fat Jon, Force of Nature, etc. This is exactly what I needed. So much of the best music in this world flies under the radar.
I was watching an episode of BBC's Life and heard the narrator use the exact same term "safe in the steep cliffs" when referring to some highland monkeys. I wonder if he got the idea for the album name from that.
@giofreerun in some tracks he makes music with musicans (like TheBJW88 wrote earlier, this track features keybords by Uyama Hiroto). I'm guesing the rest is made with samples.
This album is so good. I saw Emancipator and Eliot Lipp open for Bassnectar in Seattle. Really no words can describe that show. I gotta say that I hate this new Youtube set up though. It just doesn't make sense.
@becool365 well its up to 34,410 right now, its still going up, slowly but its still going up. hopefully when people get out of the mainstream trend, and start listening to good music like this, well get there :) until then il do my part and keep on supporting good music and videos like this.
@AKA1CHECKMATE Good that its more popular! Though as far as I have observed from Underground on YouTube its actually doing pretty awesome, which is both good and bad. I know some really good songs out there for which I piled 200 views myself and it still struggled to reach 1000. It takes quite a bit of devotion to find the right sort of music, underneath all the other junk that gets recommended due to high view count.
@becool365 my thoughts exact man, and sorry i took long to respond, been knee deep in work. but yeah, its ashame how much garbage gets played on the radio these days, and im not one to hate on anybodys success, but it angers me when people can possibly say that litle wayne makes "good music" or when people continue to spew ignorance through the internet or television, im getting off topic, im trying to do what u did, and give emancipators vids alot of views lol
One of my personal favorite producers because he is so progressive with his beats and uses some of the most beautiful sounds ever, if you like this i recommend nujabes, fat jon, and bonobo.
@eluded1 DUDE YES. In this order I found Nujabes, Bonobo, and Emancipator. GLORIOUS beats forever. Bluetech's pretty good too, a little more intense however.

He mostly samples his own music, if I'm not mistaken. He's a multi-instrumentalist and a musical genius, either way.
