That's the hidden character theme. If you played the arcade version and you fought someone like Bryan, Kuma, just a character who you should unlock first. That theme was coming then.. I also like it, but Forest Law's theme was EPIC ! XD

@Doom2Guy 1 & 2 were simlar, 3 was different and faster, Tag was like a mix of 2 & 3, 4 was alot different (and it was bad), 5 was like 3, but with walls and grapples and more moves and characters, 6 was alot like five, except they added bound and rage. 3 was the best IMO, when they change too much, like in 4, or 6 when they decided to make it "juggle fest", it gets way worse, we just want it to be the same, without stupid changes like bound and rage and 8 way run.

I don't quite know which Tekken game purists stand by, but for my money, this was the most fun. Great party game, even when I was getting my ass handed to me by some Eddie Gordo mashing craziness.

So many drunken college evenings that devolved into just playing as Gon and goofing around. Good times. Also, Hwoarang and Brian Fury for life.

Did you ever try using Gurlukovich? If you play it enough you end up being so good it actually becomes a more than competent character to play as, and extremely fun to play and be beaten with.

@GarudohRedux I remember getting this soon after it came out, and I was amazed at how smoothly it ran on the PS1. Easily one of my favs, if not the best Tekken.

Hell yes. Watching this after a load of Tekken 6 footage really points out how much the rebound system makes a different to combos.
