  • all the meat is Halal, right? Because I heard it is better than other types of meat

  • @sololobo112, Halal meat has no special favour or anyother special feature excpet for the fact that the animal which that meat came from was killed according to the Islamic law. Ofcourse to get halal certified you have to pay some money to the mosque.

  • 3:38 i saw a bug crawling on the upper part..

  • i can eat ugali with that.

  • You have some extra protein in there. 3:35 -3:37 there is something crawling on the pan on the right hand bottom corner.

Interesting dinner I'll have to try it! 5 star's (even with the ant! )

  • damn Hi definition

  • @vahchef : Chef! You're a great editor too! No 3:35-3:37 anymore... Lol

  • @vahchef Ha ha ha! It was On the pot, not In the pot, so that's okay.

  • This is how Mlecchas cook in this Kali Yuga.

  • Adult sheep's meat = Mutton

    Baby/young (=Lamb) sheep's meat = Lamb meat

    Goat's meat =Chevon

    Calf's meat=Veal

  • yeah, u r a meat expert, aren't u?

5th generation of butchers. btw, what did i say wrong? being such an expert, dont u agree that mutton is tough to cook or to chew even.

  • @armolana...ahem ahem...I am a veterinarian n I have studies meat and meat products...so there!

I never commented on ur post...so stop being rude!

No need to b a butcher to know these basics!

Texture and tenderness varies with every type of meat...so does flavor n color...

mutton is chewy n needs long hours of cooking or good amount of pressure cooking!

  • well, if u read through my comment properly, u will notice, that was just kidding abt the butcher thing. but i asked u also, whether i agreed, that mutton was different from lamb meat. by texture and other aspects. cheers.

  • lets stop this back n forth thingy! i did not get ur "jk" in ny of ur comments posted! nyways.....so long!

  • right

  • in india, mutton is goat meat actually...for other countries its sheep

  • i agree that mutton is tougher than lamb, but mutton is mature sheep's meat. not goat. look it up if it's a dispute.

  • 7:23... LOL - look at this baybaayy

  • excellent dish - but what is chironji

  • Well, in India mutton = goat but not lamb

    Chef made a mistake.

  • in India we get both lamb and goat , i used lamb , goat i prefer for gravy preparations

  • I really cannot stand the smell and texture of lamb but I like goat. And I am all confused about the definition of mutton. I just found out (after some google searching) that mutton is lamb in the western world but in countries like India, mutton means goat. Thanks for this video. It looks yummy.

  • @amitpanchabhai well he lives in Sweden so lamb is easy to come by.

  • look at this babyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • Chef, what did you add with the dry spices n chilli in the mixer initially to get it in a paste form, was it just water or yogurt, the mixture looked creamish.Tomorrow I have to go find chironji in Indian mart and make this dish..Looks delicious!!

  • True it is tasty

  • wow my stomach just kicked me for watching this... LOOKS SOOO GOOD!!

  • That looks so flavoursome!

  • Wow, I never realized the resemblance for pronunciation of indian words with korean words. A lot of indian words can be replicated with korean letters! Just thought I would say that.

  • lol@"low medium"

  • what's chironji??????????? in English..

  • LOOOK AT DIS BABEEE!

  • thats a lot of ingredients... hard to find here in the US

  • depends on where you live. I could find all of those ingredients here in central Texas.

  • That looks sooooooooooooooo good!!!!

I've got a pressure cooker that I've never used, but this recipe just might inspire me to break it out.

  • hey can cook for me anyday! :D

  • I LOVE YOU VAH CHEF !

  • Realy fantastic, can beef be substituted for lamb? Chef you rock.

  • Chef Sanajay.. I HAVE A COMPLAINT!! You never answer any queries on youtube comments ='( In case you decide to answer some ques.. here is mine.... WHAT happens to all the food you cook for the videos??! =D

  • Agreed; though it's hardy a complaint, he's off in the lab (like dr. dre, but not with a pen 'n pad -- more , ..a, .. tava and knife.

Sanjay, this recipe is superb, You know am making this in the morning ..so one can have it nicely marinated then reheat sloowly for my dinner in the evening, many thanks good sir. Inspired me , you certainly have .

  • oh man that is brilliant...i am Hungry already lol

  • yey!

    ding tiki masala !

  • I think it is actually "ding chik"... probably originated from the way it sounds when you use mortar and pestle.

  • oh,thanks correcting.

  • that looks soo delicious.

  • must be like hellfire. I looooove lamb, but it has to be cooked til it's super tender. I don't like chewy lamb. this looks so delicious.

  • get some lamb neck or shoulder( mutton is better-more flavour) cut into chucks, follow this recipe an cook it looong time

  • @mihalspinvinyl I couldn't stand the taste of lamb but I used to love the flavor of mutton. But I always seem to find only lamb in the stores and many people don't seem to care for the difference between the flavors of lamb and mutton. Where can we find mutton anyway? Thanks.

  • @1sro: hmm, depends, a local butcher should have it if any good or will get it for you. might have to travel to find a good one..ask around, google in yr area... there will be one --somewhere....

Or for larger amounts ask , after all, that is there living. They would be happy to sell you one, the take it to slaughter.

  • "wow! look at this.. look at this babbbbaaaaaayyyyyyyyy" lmao!

  • That looks so delicious!

  • Chef, quick question, can you use Chicken instead of lamb in this recipe? Thanks!
