Nice video. I love spinning plates. I've never been into the spinning plates you purchase. I prefer to make my own using the 12 inch pizza pie pans you buy at a walmart and a dowel stick from Lowes hardware. So much cheaper than buying the custom made versions.

Have you tried spinning a plate on a stick and then balancing all of that on the point of another stick?

Do you have a proper spinning plate? If not, that's your problem. You can't do it with a normal plate and a chopstick.

I briefly played with plates before moving on to Clubs, Acrylics and Diabolos.

Comparatively, plates don't seem as versatile to me. I wonder how this circus art is going to advance over time?

David, you had that plate spinning for 1:20! Wow, that's the longest-lasting spin ever! If you hadn't done that catch trick, it might have gone longer.
