Republic's stuntmen were the best in the business. They gave you more bounce for your buck. The guy who runs up the wall and pushs off into the fight was Duke Green. Clayton Moore worked at Republic before and after he was the Lone Ranger. His appearance as Zorro was what got him his LR job. When he was on hiatus from the TV series, he worked at Republic and Columbia. Linda Stirling retired from serials after this one, marrying scriptwriter Sloan Nibley. The serial was released in 1946.
@MrFrontrowkid What part of the video are you referring too when you say "the guy who runs up the wall and pushs off into the fight"? I'm not trolling, I'm just curious if I'm missing something.
Here is The Crimson Ghost character I remember. Long before The Misfits used him as their mascot, The Crimson Ghost was a costumed, mastermind saboteur from an old cliffhanging serial from the 1940s. It also starred Clayton Moore as the Ghost's main henchman Ash. This was a decade before playing The Lone Ranger made Clayton Moore famous. The Crimson Ghost was a great villain! Very creepy mask!
Thanks for posting. Love these old serials!
Also, I like the way it's called the Crimson (meaning red) Ghost, but the thing was filmed in black and white!

Great fight scene. Rivals some current stuff. I love how the guy just dives across the room to fend off the Crimson Ghost's hentchmen.
