Skyrim - How to Fill Soul Gems FAST!

Quickest Way:

Step 1: Get follower

Step 2: Give follower Soul-Trap weapon

(they never have to recharge it)

Step 3: Give follower all unfilled soulgems

Step 4: PROFIT!

i put a "capture soul" inchantment on my deadric dagger i go on sneak amd 3x dammage no doubt to capture a soul

what pds314159 said. working on conjuration is totaly worth it. on top of the bound weapons and soul stealer perk, you can get a spell called dead thrall which lets you permanently resurrect a corpse to fight for you and if they die, you can resurrect them again because the dont turn to ash. NO MORE MOURNING FOR LYDIA......but eventually you'll get annoyed because the make zombie noises lol. and when you get twin souls, you can summon or resurrect 2 people :D

lol, its so much easier just to get bound sword from Farengar and get to 40-ish skill for conjuaration, get the soul stealer perk, start slaughtering spiders, bears, sabertooths, trolls, draugr, etc. every bound weapon you use with soul stealer gets it if it dies shortly after, which means you don't even need a powerful bound weapon, just use it within about a minute of it dying.

@jeglider ive fought some pretty tough spiders. its those really huge ones that drop from the ceiling in dungeons.

I like doing it with a bow enchanted with soul trap because i have good sneaking perks so i can basically wipe out a cave of spiders really fast with 1 shot kills

another way to fill grand soul gems is to kill giants and mammoths

that way you fill like 3-4 grand soul gems at one go and get loads of cash of em :P

you can enchant a bow to have soul trap if you wanna keep your distance

@HereIsYourDad you fill the ones that you already have. then you have to buy more, as they vanish once you use them. unless you get azura's star.

Wiggy make a guide on how to find all the amulet fragments of a wizard guy I forgot what it is called but the quest to start it is Lost Legends, tip if you do decide to do this keep the ivory claw u find in ur inventory. I did as lvl 25 with dwarven and it was hard at the boss fights.

Just to help people around the interwebs, Soul Trap does not work on the dead like Draugrs, Skeletons, Daedra, and the Dwarven Machinery don't count.
