  • HE`S AS GOOD AS DANNY JOE,EVEN BETTER.LOVE THIS SONG

  • Travis is multi-faceted. He can do blues, rock, Southern rock, country, ballads, fast tunes, etc. He'll even do cover tunes of songs by Waylon Jennings, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Bon Jovi. Once I saw him in concert and he did his version of Wanted, Dead or Alive.

  • @wolverinefan1968, @chickenhawk2323, You both are right. I have seen Travis live 5 times and no one is a more energetic, enthusiastic performer than he is. He gives 110% every performance. He LOVES music, performing, and just having a ball on stage. He can be quite a ham sometimes.

  • Does anyone realize this song was originally done by Atlanta Rhythm Section?

  • He WAS....

  • Travis is one of the best of all time...And he writes 99% of all his songs...Not too many artists do that.. Only other two that comes to mind is Alan Jackson and Taylor Swift

  • @chickenhawk2323 true, but taylor swift isnt really country its more modern pop. travis tritt is the real deal! this man has so much hart and soul its crazy!

  • He may be marketed as a "country" musician, but for my money Tritt rocks harder and sounds hotter than a lot of the so-called "rockers" and "rock & rollers" who have come down the pike the last 20 years!

  • I think he's better at rock than he is at country, either way he still kicks ass!!!!

  • This is a great USO jam.

  • Awesome remake of the Atlanta Rhythm Section song....

  • If you have never seen Travis do this song live your missing out big time!

    Get it TT.

  • @ModGirl1967 - I know it, girl, and like the rest of your brothers, he's incredibly talented! I love his work on this song, and his playing with ARS.

  • ♥ ~ R.I.P. Ronnie Hammond ~ ♥

  • Travis does a great job on this ARS cover. But, I have to admit, his lead guitar player, Wendell Cox, just knocks it out of the park!! His playing and tone are spot on! Great job!!

  • @ldthor Wendell Cox is my baby brother. :)

  • Atlanta Rhythm Section first released Homesick on their album Quinella in 1981. It's on YouTube, but Travis does a damn good rendition. Travis and The Atlanta Rhythm Section are both Georgia Boys.

  • I saw Travis perform live in So. Bend for the MDA Ride & there were about 5000 bikers, but since I didn't have a ride I was able to get first row by the stage. Travis blew a kiss & I turned around to see what beautiful girl it was for. When I couldn't figure out who it was and turned back around he was smiling & pointing right at me.Very cool moment. He did Homesick. It blew me away & rocked the crowd. He had just lost one of his friends from Lynyrd Skynyrd & did a tribute w/Sweet Home Alabama.

  • Travis should've replaced Ronnie Zan Zant when he died!

  • i wanna hear this guy in canada do this blistering tune,,,,,with travis,,,andy probyn and travis,,,omg,,,bring it on

  • The best concerts I have ever been to..Travis Tritt is Da Man!!! Best entertainer and singer out there for my money.

  • @wolverinefan1968 I couldn't have said it any better, Travis is the greatest Entertainer

Have a great day, because It's a great day to be alive

  • Yes it most certainly is a great day to be alive. Nice to know that your strong enough to be a fan :)

  • @wolverinefan1968 Thanks for the reply, yes I will always be strong enough for Travis, I was very fortunate to have met this soulhearted man, June 29/06 at Casino Rama and Travis is everything he appears to be, he makes you feel like a friend and he is very humorous, and a down to earth guy, Thanks for listening....Barbara

  • @wolverinefan1968 - It was not only one of the best concerts ever, I consumed more beer than ever! It was one heck of a party but really hurt the next day......

  • I do belive it was halloween 2004.. I'd have to check my ticket stubs.. and lord knows I got a ton of them!!! (SUPER FAN!!)

  • When was this video made?

  • I believe this came out shortly after his "Strong Enough" album so I'm thinking it was around Oct/Nov 2003 or 2004.

  • @Chloegone this song was originally by the ATLANTIC RYTHM SECTION.probably back in the early 70s not sure of the year..this is a cover ....

  • im thinking more like 1996

  • @Chloegone I believe that this is from the Live and Kickin' DVD. It was recorded in 2002.

  • @Chloegone I think this was recorded in 2002. From the Live And Kickin' DVD.

  • LOVE HIS ..........HAT

  • one of my favorites! my son is named after travis!

  • hellllll yahhh !!!!!!!

  • gr8 tune and video thanx for posting

  • this is one of my favs by travis tritt !!

  • Travis Tritt rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where can I find the "rock" version from Tritt.. this one I mean.. but from the studio.. the one from It's all about to Change.. is not this one.. please help!

  • Try Rhapsody

  • found it, thanks much.

  • @blah114a The studio version kicks ass. I used to ahve that album. Think it was called Somethings gonna change (or something like that). Came out in early 90's. One of his first. Think it had HERE"S A QUARTER and ANYMORE on it too. I think the song originally was done by a band called Little Feat.

  • I have a question for you Travis Tritt fans. This has become a big thing between my family. In the album version of this song, after he says "yes yes yes" and that person does the cream, is it a guy or a girl? I think it's a guy and my step dad thinks it's a girl. Please help!

  • You referring to the one that starts about 25 seconds into the album version where they scream aaaaaahhhhh ha ha hey...that's a guy.

  • Thank you so much. Any chance you could tell me the name of the person?

  • My best guess, it was either a Studio backup singer or perhaps it was one of the members of the Country Club band, but I don't know for sure.

  • This is a guy...from the band.

  • guy i think

  • a cover song he did by the band Atlanta Rythym Section

  • Great Song and vid Thanks for sharing *****

  • he looks drunk but he's a good singer

  • lol. He performs on average for 2 1/2 to 3 hours so I could imagine him being a little tired as this was the last song of the concert.

  • yeah probably but do u think he probably was drinking before the concert

  • Lol. I never got the impression he was actually 'drunk.' It's very hard to be drunk and perform well, especially while you're singing, playing the guitar, and dancing. I've got the entire concert uploaded. Feel free to watch them and judge for yourself. Now I won't say he hasn't been drunk on stage before, because out of performing for like 15+ years, I've heard a couple comments where he was drunk, but it's an extremely rare event.

  • Travis, thank you for all the great shows,

please feel welcome to come to Ellsworth AFB.

There will be a pass at the front gate, you will be welcomed as a friend and family.

  • Does anyone know if this is on any of his cd's??

  • Yes it is but I'm not quite sure which one it is.

  • Its on his "Its all about to Change" album

  • Travis covers another great tune again!!!!!!!!!! keep it rockin outlaw baby

  • wow nice vid one of my fav thanks bigdmck01 for sharing! good luck for uploading and God bless!

  • bigdmck01.. you are my new hero.. I love Travis.. thanks for the great videos..

  • lol...thanks

  • Love that rebel flag guitar. And this song is probably Travis' best rockin' song. Could very well be a rock crossover song. Honestly, my father n law hated country music when I first met him back in 2003. And I played his song (put some drive in you country) and he has been hooked on country music ever since then. Go Travis!!!

  • Atlanta Rhythm Section wrote this song in 81, so I wouldnt call it ''travis song'' :)

  • I only had minimal interest in Travis until I heard him do this song! Been hooked ever since! Thanks!

  • Ahhh travis tritt is fucking amazingggggggggg

  • Travis Tritt is so underrated. I don't think he ever got the credit he deserved. Keep posting the great videos bigdmck01!

  • Thanks,I found that this song is on his 'Its all about to change' cd.Love this song and have downloaded the above cd so now I have it!!
