@MaventaofCosta Wtf are you talking about you can build a competitive car for 10k I know because ive built two. The super big spending schools spend like 15K or close to 20. But the way how the rules are written the more money you spend is the less points you get.
but yeah 10K is a good budget. Unless you decide to run some ridiculous EMS like a motec the engine should be the most expensive part, the chassis can be built for 3K, and the suspension 2K
More like >100k. It costs tons to design and manufacture one of these.

....i know several schools with budgets around 40k... most don't touch them either.
