Right now, at this time, I am trying to help an 11 year old who tried to take his life because he is gay. His mom found him laying in a pool of blood in the bathroom. He spent 2 weeks in the hospital. This youth, a Christian, does not want his gay feelings but he told me he has known this since early childhood. What depresses him the most is that his mom cannot accept him because of her Christian beliefs and also the preaching of his church that he can change.
