Taiwan should request more officer exchanges, it's leadership is inexperienced fighting wars. The ROC needs to improve it's recruitment policies, and more actively use psyops and subversion on the PRC govt. It is now less difficult than ever before to spread information and expose the PRC regime's atrocious conduct, and motivate the PRC population to consider alternatives, such as resistance and support for the ROC, which is now a model for Chinese Democracy. From what my cousins have told me about the Taiwanese Army, the Taiwanese Army doesn't sound very disciplined at all, unfortunately.

I don't think most people understand Taiwan's situation, Taiwan is still technically apart of Japan since it never signed a agreement to give it up.
Heres how it is at the moment, the ROC is the subordinate occupying power of Taiwan, the USA is the principle occupying power of Taiwan so technically the ROC government is in exile from the mainland and Taiwan is a Japanese territory under occupation by the USA governed by the ROC.
PRC lacks the capacity to invade Taiwan convectional, and everyone knows it. They will need 3 times as many ships than in the Normandy landings, and hats only logistics- they still have to beat the Taiwanese military who are no pushovers. They have 1.8 million troops, and an airforce just as large as PRCs.
There is also the beaches, there are only three possible sites for a landing, two of them are on the Eastern side of the Island- and all fortified to hell.
What I don't see is how can Taiwan not be part of China? Taiwan has been apart of China since the Ming Dynasty. If China says Taiwan can't be independant then they can't because Taiwan is Chinese property. Taiwan may have it's own goverment and own rules but it's still China

China won't invade Taiwan. They will risk their already tarnished international image if they did. And if China did invade Taiwan, Taiwan will get absorbed in I would say 1 week tops. I hope there is no war between China and Taiwan. It is better using diplomacy instead of force. But the real battle will be by air and sea. Taiwan should request more officer exchanges, it's leadership is inexperienced fighting wars. The ROC needs to improve it's recruitment policies, and more actively use psyops and subversion on the PRC govt. It is now less difficult than ever before to spread information and expose the PRC regime's atrocious conduct, and motivate the PRC population to consider alternatives, such as resistance and support for the ROC, which is now a model for Chinese Democracy. Further US-ROC wargaming helps too

I don't think most people understand Taiwan's situation, Taiwan is still technically apart of Japan since it never signed a agreement to give it up.
Heres how it is at the moment, the ROC is the subordinate occupying power of Taiwan, the USA is the principle occupying power of Taiwan so technically the ROC government is in exile from the mainland and Taiwan is a Japanese territory under occupation by the USA governed by the ROC.

They will need 3 times as many ships than in the Normandy landings, and hats only logistics- they still have to beat the Taiwanese military who are no pushovers. They have 1.8 million troops, and an airforce just as large as PRCs.
There is also the beaches, there are only three possible sites for a landing, two of them are on the Eastern side of the Island- and all fortified to hell.

Taiwan doesn't want to kill china, because in the past they wanted to establish democracy in china, but failed because of foreign interventions and other factors that probably hindered their efforts. Taiwan in the end was created after those people fighting for democracy in china went to an Island and set up a democracy based government. The only thing that matters is a political revolution for one side.

Any aggressive move by the PRC would prompt at least 2 American carrier task forces to be deployed; both of which would have the capability to send any Chinese invasion force to the bottom of the ocean.

And China has a sizable Navy; as you can read from your own posts you are admitting that the Republic of China Navy is very small. Unless Taiwan has stored 5,000,000 missiles comprising of various anti-ship and anti-air missiles, don't expect a long, drawn out battle. Remember, if worst comes to worst PRC can always BLOCKADE Taiwan, starving them slowly.

If China takes Taiwan it will be by peaceful means. If China decides to take Taiwan by force, they risk breaking the relationship with America and they risk the US and allies launching a full scale nuclear attack directly against mainland military infrastructure and cities that would not be recoverable. Taiwan will have a peaceful reunification with the Mainland. President Ma was even thinking about Taiwan reunificating with the mainland. Your country doesn't have a "mutual defense treaty" with Taiwan anymore, so you have no obligation to defend Taiwan anymore, you guys are facing a dilemma. First off, you know nothing about Taiwan. Taiwan has alot of traditions and culture that come from China and most of their population originated in China too. Don't think it's that easy to just wage a war against China, if China collapses it will be catastrophic for the rest of the world. Don't you know that China is already a Great power in Asia which means it has alot of politicial influence across the globe, also China counts 7.5% of the Global Trade, Taiwan not probably even 2%. Japan and Korea will be the great powers of Asia, along with the USA. China is a third world polluted and riot filled mess. The US depends on nobody, we could easily slap sanctions on China tomorrow and it would make no difference to US. All nations will step up the buying of US dollars, and any US bond.
