vic has to go somewhere and can't celebrate christmas with his mom and dad, and his dad is i guess disappointed about it. in the taxi, vic writes "i wish you a pepsi(?)" on the wind shield.

Then, at the airport, vic discovers that his dad also gave him a pepsi and the can said "i wish you a pepsi" also.

So vic comes back home, saying that the snow is too big and the flight was cancelled.
