@Alsadius I agree, I don't dislike KRS-One but this is a bit disappointing, why would they think the community would be entertained by this in particular? Normally they are on point... a rare let down...
@Kinowolf The community is those who follow Penny Arcade. Of course there are Penny Arcade fans who also listen to KRS-One, but if you already like KRS-One to the extent you claim to have been "raised on this" then your opinion is incidental since your reaction is principally one of a KRS-One fan, not one of a Penny Arcade reader being introduced to something novel. Your judgment is thus confounded by favoring KRS-One ahead of time, making it biased. Clear enough, Kinowolf?
@mikathemage No, that's logically muddled. I discovered KRS-One after I was a fan of Penny Arcade, but even if my opinion is compromised because this isn't novel, your initial statement is still incorrect. You presuppose the opinions and tastes of a large audience based on your own reaction to it. You also presume PA readers don't like hip hop, or worse, you presume that because the majority of fans might not like hip hop, that Tycho shouldn't serve or connect with the minority that do.
I own this abum..and every Krs-One albume ever created ...all the way back to "Criminal Minded"..this album is actually a double Disc..this is off the breakdancin CD...Disc 1...love it..good post
What's funny is that 15 years ago they were saying the EXACT same thing. The way people tell it, you would think that hip-hop was awesome like the first year it was around, and got steadily worse. Either that or tracks magically become good 10 years after they're made.
Neither one makes much sense to me...but hey, what do I know?
WE GET DOWN TA THIS SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

@mikathemage Who's "the community?" Do you speak for all of us, now? I was raised on this, and raised on Penny Arcade. I am the Community.
