Barry's vibrato always sounded a bit slow and laboured compared with Robin's which is much quicker and controlled,Barry sang better in the late 70's.People don't realise too it was Maurice doing the highest harmonies.Brilliant talents these boys are.

@Choefoe Actually I believe this was from a TV show in England after this song Barry is faded out and Robin sings I started a joke in the spotlight, I never had a preference for either vocals, they were both wonderful in their own unique way, and as a band they were beyond parity.

They were good - equally good live as on record - and frankly not many artists can match that. And not many can mature over the years and meet the changing trends but they did it. Western Springs, Auckland , New Zealand - late 90's I think.
