they seem to just be making this game in better graphics and thats all. They arent even doing a great job at that. After playing Guilty Gear games this look mediocre.

I already knew the studio that remade this game. Rebalanced it, or balanced it. Thats not my point. I wish capcom showed that they gave a damn by releasing a really good sequel. Its yet to be seen if street fighter IV is that great sequel.

Capcom has released street fighter 2 for sega genesis, super nintedo, ps1, ps2, dreamcast, sega cd, and probably alot of other systems. and the best they can come up with now is the same game with better graphics, a subpar improved sound tract and rebalanced mechanics. Is that it? why not just release game in a crazy new graphic style or better yet, give us what we want. A total "royal rumble" of capcom caracters. a game that has every single caracter street fighter has ever hosted.

Count me as the first. Search for MUGEN videos, where people come up with their own roster of fighters, thats proof that fans want a Capcom Mashup. Capcom fighting evolution was a sorry attempt at it. Capcom could come up with the 2d fighting game to end them all, but like all corporations they rather release a half ass product. But I will admit this game looks cool, what do you want me to say. I like street fighter.

It's not a half-assed product, this game has been pushed back for months and months now. New animations, new music scores, new modes, and fine-tweaked gameplay is ALL that they should be doing, and the fact that they are doing it so carefully should be a sign that they aren't doing it "half-assed". Only amateurs or casual players would care about "all new characters" or a "crazy new graphic style". You probably wouldn't know since you can't appreciate the differences between each SF game.

I know that I sound like a casual Street Fighter player. Nothing could be further from the truth. But I take notice in the great evolution in fighting games: Capcom, SNK, Midway, Sammy Studios, Namco, Techmo. What I dont want is what capcom has ben doing for the past 20 years: RE RE RE RE (etc) REreleasing street fighter 2. I already own (and have played for years) Street fighter 2. No matter how good they make this one. its still street fighter 2. How about jumping into the 21st century?

You can still have you're street fighter and have it EVOLVE. You are probably right, Hell I hope you are right, but how about a new street fighter for those of us that have been waiting for one since Street Fighter 3(wich came out 10 years ago) And before you Bash me again I already know about Street Fighter IV.

No. You're wrong. I just want capcom to move the street fighter series into the 21st century. Like SNK is doing with King Of Fighters XII. and in your comment you imply that I am simply bashing capcom. I already said that I hope this HD Remix proves me wrong and that it actually looks promising. But What I said about capcom rehashing Street Fighter II for over 20 years is DAMN TRUE. I simply dont want this to be the case and thats why I am a little bit Skeptic.

My personal opinion if the're going to update an old classic Street Fighter I was what should have been done. Redraw all the characters and backgrounds and make all the characters playable, Eagle, Lee, etc.

I think I heard in one of the interviews regarding the game that you could choose between using the new and old soundtracks. Not 100% though.

I only play a few of those games that is suitable for all ages. its all about rated m, fighting, and shooting, and some rpg and action games for me. i dont like racing that much. except for sonic riders. anyways thats why i got a 360. i could buy a wii if i wanted one. but im happy with my bad@SS games

gotta say this game looks to be shaping up quite nicely. my only complaint is the remixed music doesnt really have much of a "kick" except for some the of the songs i heard. But i guess you can choose to have remixed songs or original so i guess it wont be bad.
