i just stumbled on a woman with a knack somewhat like rays. she's from tasmania.
audrey auld. check out her "I'm 40"; "I'd leave me, too." & "I love you like the earth."
She met Ray in Nashville. He asked her to show him her hits and then suggested they go home and co-write.

Not Ray Davies per se: his extraordinary songs, But that should be evident.
