is there anyone from bosendorfer here? I am a Bosendorfer,it is my name but I cannot find any history from my family as I was brought up in England.Might be no connection but I've never met another.

I have an Ignaz Bösendorfer from 1842 it is a wonderful instrument.

Steinway are boring already.......

Bösendorfer is a great instrument, rich tone - but not in the high trebble... I think Yamaha S series, and Shigeru Kawai is the best Japans, precise action, clear tone - and better trebble than any Steinways.... Fazioli is also better than Steinways.

NewYork Steinways are big Junk!! Hamburg Steinway is concert standard usual......

But, Bösendorfer has Model 280 ! This is a wonderfull instrument.. I think better than Imperial 290...and Steinway D modell

Steinway is like a Rolex in my opinion.

Bosendorfer more like a Patek Philippe!

Of course Bôsendorfer is now owned by Yamaha and the world stands by awaiting dilution of this great name and instrument at the hands of the Japanese.
