Here's a tip from a veteran DKC 2 player: You don't need to press A and Y at the same time to create a web platform. Just press A once to shoot out a web ball and press it again to make it into a web platform. Up and down on the D pad lets you adjust the direction of the web shot, whether it's the platform or the attack web. I got this game for Xmas 16 years ago.

The Secrets You Missed Here:

Kannon's Klaim: In the first bonus room, skip the barrels and use Dixie to fly to the right & you should find the DK coin.

Red Hot Ride: At the checkpoint, you should see a lone banana at the bottom which has a "B" barrel; Use a balloon or Dixie to get there. The DK coin is right above the "N".

Squawk's Shaft: At 20:29, use Dixie to fly to the right and you'll see some barrels, The "B" barrel is at the end. At 21:05, use both Kongs to reach a barrel on the left.
